UKIP has won more than 30 council seats in three months

The news is that UKIP has won more than 30 council seats in three months and in the latest ballot William Harness won a seat on the North East Lincolnshire Council, this being the third success since the Eastleigh by-election.

UKIP came second at the by-elections in Bilborough, Nottingham, Pemberton and Wigan and if this wasn't enough more than 20 Conservatives elected representatives have now joined UKIP and UKIP is also winning more by-elections than Labour.

We have elections coming this year and this will undoubtedly be a warm-up for the European Elections due to take place next year.

Rather than reducing speed, we should be forging ahead at full steam. Those who make themselves invisible are bound to pay a very high price in political terms.
