With its military adventures, USA is creating misery across the world

The picture published by the Washington Post tells the story. While a few who already have too much get richer, misery is spreading across the world thanks to American military adventures. Bombs here and bombs overthere, tales about fake glory and servicemen that have had too much to bear and talk about taking their own lives.

USA the land of the free or USA the land of those who have been taken for a ride by those they chose to run their country? Has the world become a better place because of the USA? Not at present. With energy bills and food bills getting higher and higher, millions of families across the world are facing unbearable hardship because of US military adventures.

USA is not creating freedom. It is creating hunger, starvation and widespread death and such misery is increasingly felt inside the USA. 

How will Britain be able to cope with rationing?

 

This is an image or rationing during World War Two. If crops fail and if importing foodstuff from other parts of the world is incrreasingly difficult, how will more than 70 million people in the United Kingdom be able to cope with rationing?

Britain is by far not the same country. So called Diversity will not allow the authorities to control mass disorder if the struggle to get foodstuff becomes tribal. Britain is already divided along racial and religious lines, with people that see each other as declared enemies. In normal circumstances it is all hush-hush. In extreme circumstances when the need to survive is on the table, it is not going to be nice.

The fields are burning hot. There is not enough water to protect crops. So what is the choice? Water for irrigation or water for human consumption? Entire blocks of appartments with families with children living in them have had serious difficulties to have water supplies to meet the most basic needs. Once crops fail, there is not much point in spreading water resources around, but then comes the need to distribute foodstuff.

Shop-lifting is already at record levels. It does not take too much to understand what will happen when foodstuff runs out. Big food chains like Marks and Spencer have asked Police for support and Police has denied support. If in normal circumstances, workers working for big supply chains are on their own to deal with violence and widespread theft, what will happen in extreme circumstances?

Imposed a lockdown was both about health and about politics because it had both health and political repercussions on top of having enormous financial consequences. Politicians are blamed for not imposing a lockdown and politicians are blamed for having imposed a lockdown. At the end of the day, we know that no economy in the world can survive almost total paralysis. If major economies collapse, other economies around the world will collapse because we are interdependent of one another.

This is worse than 1929 and we know what happened as a direct consequence of 1929. World War Two was one of the direct consequences of what happened in Wall Street, New York in 1929.   

According to the League of Nations, the world's population in 1929 was about 1,833 million. In 2020, the world's population is estimated to be 7,800 million. The pressure in terms of having to meet the needs of a population that is more than 3 times bigger than the population of 1929 is gigantic.

The challenge is clearly visible. Economic demobilization at this point time can have dramatic repercussions. We are talking about mass starvation and conflicts of unbelievable proportions.
