Sadiq Khan: London Mayoral Election 2020

Sadiq Khan: London Mayoral Election 2020

Despite what happened in the rest of the country and in the Labour Party in particular, I don't think there is a natural challenger that could unseat Sadiq Khan as London Mayor.

Whoever aspires to defeat Sadiq Khan will have to have enough political weight to have any chance of winning against a London Mayor that built his own political profile regardless of the troubles of the Labour Party led by Jeremy Corbyn.

Regardless of his stances on Brexit and his statements on foreign affairs i.e. his war of words with President Donald Trump, I reckon Sadiq Khan could even benefit from his stances and statements because London is a completely different cup of tea when compared to the rest of the United Kingdom.
Who are the other contenders? Well, Shaun Bailey will be standing as Conservative Party Mayoral Candidate. The Liberal Democrats have Siobhan Benita who previously stood in 2012 as Independent. SiƤn Berry will stand for the Green Party. Sue Black will stand for the Women's Equality Party, Rosalind Readhead would be standing as Independent, and Rory Stewart, former Conservative MP would be standing as Independent Candidate.

Despite the fact that opinion polls indicate that Sadiq Kahn went from 62% down to 44%  (December 2018 until November 2019), none of the contenders seem to have the charisma and the experience Sadiq Khan has. So unless there is a last minute change with a bigger hat being thrown into the ring I reckon the Sadiq Khan's mandate will be extended for another four years.

Greens and Labour will be fighting for predominance in the London Assembly. As it was stated in a husting in London before the 2019 General Election, the Green Party is a serious challenger and would do well on the London Wide List. The credibility of the Lib Dems was seriusly damaged with the loss of many MPs - including those who defected from the Labour Party and the Conservative Party and their leader Jo Swinson but they could do well enough to get Siobhan Benita elected as London Assembly Member if they play their cards right.

With regards to UKIP and Brexit Party and other political contenders, they were routed or not even stood in December 2019. Therefore, I believe that they wouldn't stand a chance. They would lose not just the election but also all their deposits.

For decades the Labour Party has instigated violence against political opponents

For decades the Labour Party has instigated violence against political opponents

When politicians were being targetted by Labour Party supporters on the streets, did the Labour Party representatives stand to put an end to aggression on the streets? This is the same Labour Party that called its political opponents Nazi, Fascist, Racist and the like using parapolitical organisations like Hope Not Hate, the UAF and the trade unions to target political opponents even in front of the Houses of Parliament.

Let's see what John McDonnell stated not long ago called for direct actions against Conservative MPs and Lib Dem MPs.

This is not to mention the actions promoted by the Labour Party against other political organization representatives.

Moderation is needed to prevent acts of violence but for years the Labour Party and related parapolitical organizations have promoted violence against political opponents.

If Jess Phillips is so concerned about violence against Members of Parliament, what about incidents targetting Jacob Rees Mogg? What about walking around with placards with incendiary slogans? What about throwing milkshakes and glass bottles against political opponents? They laughed about acts of aggression promoted by the Labour Party itself.

Labour's true colours: Margaret Beckett

Labour's true colours: Margaret Beckett

Margaret Beckett
We are so focused on Jeremy Corbyn that we have perhaps missed what Margaret Beckett, a veteran Labour MP, wrote for all to see. She advised Labour MPs to reject any deal that Prime Minister Boris Johnson agrees.

This is what defines Labour: Opposition for opposition sake. Not what benefits the country but what she things would benefit Labour's electoral chances. Not the well-being of Britain but the selfish attitude of profesional politicians who couldn't care less about Britain.

And it is precisely such attitude that really and trully damages her party's electoral chances. The Liberal Democrats have stated and stated over and over again that they want to Remain and they will campaign in a General Election to Remain. The Conservative Party's position is to Leave on October 31, Deal or No Deal.

On top of this there is a group of policians the left either the Labour |Party or the Conservative Party that find themselves in the wildnerness as Independents or as members of meaningless political parties with very limited or non-existing chances of getting back to the House of Commons if a General Election was called.

The SNP has no intention of doing anything that could benefit Britain. Their agenda is the partition of Britain. They have said it over and over again and in spite of having declared itself a non-British political party they continue to act as a hurdle in the House of Commons. So the worst the political crisis, the happier the SNP becomes.

Can we call this Parliament a representative Parliament? Representative of what? Just a few hours ago, the Labour Shadow Foreign Secretary said that the Liberal Democrats were Taliban. Chucka Ummuna, the rising Labour Party star that turned against the Labour Party, has become the most poisonous enemy of his former friends. And what about the rebel Anne Soubry? Well, she cross the Conservative Party and became independent to form a group with former Conservative and Labour MPs only to be betrayed and left in no man's land. Her fortunes changed after Change UK failed miserably in the European Parliament Elections. So once again we pose the question. Representative of what? This is the Parliament in which the Opposition ran away from a General Election proposed by Prime Minister Boris Johnson not once but several times.

My position in this matter is pretty clear and straightforward. We don't have a democratic and representative Parliament. This Parliament has devalued itself to such extent that it is moving away from the Electorate while claiming to be legitimate.

Next week, the Supreme Court will announce its verdict: Was prorogation legal or illegal? It is said that whatever the outcome, Prime Minister Boris Johnson will not recall Parliament and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II finds herself caught up in the middle. She approved prorogation and with this act declared that prorogation is legal. Funny situation to be in if the Supreme Court moves against the Monarch.

But in a country in which nothing is sacred anymore anything could happen. Former Prime Minister David Cameron broke away from tradition and revealed what should have been kept as a secret for all. time. He made revelations about his dealings with the Monarch and in a unusual move the Royal Household publicly announced its displeasure regarding the actions of David Cameron.

The decision of the Supreme Court regarding a very political matter - if it is goes against Prime Minister Boris Johnson's prorogation of Parliametn - could also mean that separation of powers that must exist in any democracy no longer exists and we could enter the worst of all worlds - a corrupt and anti-Democratic Parliament, a compromised Judiciary and an Executive forced to take action against Parliament while ignoring the Supreme Court.

All this could have been avoided if the Opposition had agreed to call a General Election. Instead, a bad situation could become a lot worse.

Brexit, Government, Parliament and the Courts: And now what?

Brexit, Government, Parliament and the Courts: And now what?

The solution implemented by David Cameron as Prime Minister to have a stable Parliament in coalition with Lib Dems - Fixed Term Parliament Act - has turned into a nightmare that has led to a political. crisis of major proportions. In a catch 22 situation, both sides of the argument have ended up in the courts to try and find a way out while at the same time whatever is left of a democratic system is simply falling apart.

A Remain Parliament was always going to resort to legal tricks not to respect the will of the Electorate that voted to get Britain out of the European Union. Despite several attempts by the British Prime Minister to call a General Election, Parliament used the Fixed Term Parliament to prevent a General Election and this is the Parliament that calls itself Democratic.

The Scottish Court was always going to play the game in favour of SNP. It remains to be seen what will be the position of an United Kingdom Courts. The verdict is expected to be announced on Tuesday next week. The Fixed Term Parliament Act has destroyed separation of powers and is creating a climate of confrontation that at the moment is about heated arguments but could easily turn into violent confrontation.

Today, the reasons why Jeremy Corbyn doesn't want a General Election - although he talks about it but doesn't want to vote for it - became apparent once again when John Watson - Labour Party Deputy Leader - contradicted the Labour Leader and was attacked by from within the Labour Party. How many Labour Parties there are? Who knows? And this is the Labour Party that according to some of its representatives aspires to govern Britain.

A Labour Party that is anti-Semitic, supporter of terrorist organisations including the IRA, that despises Britain's greatest ally - the United States of America - and stands to defend and protect its foes is a recipe for disaster both nationally and internationally.

Just a few days ago, the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited Number 10 Downing Street. Can you imagine British/Israeli relations with Jeremy Corbyn as Prime Minister? British weapons for Iran, Hamas and Hezbollah? Partition of the United Kingdom and unification of Ireland?

The SNP's only agenda is to cause as much disruption as possible - even Civil War - because the SNP couldn't care less about Britain. SNP wants to partition Britain to get Scottish Independence. It is going to take advantage of every British crisis to get its way.

What will happen next week? Well, we don't know what will happen tomorrow or the day after. Remember the old Yugoslavia.

Britain: Of Fidel Castro, Salvador Allende and Jeremy Corbyn

Britain: Of Fidel Castro, Salvador Allende and Jeremy Corbyn

Jeremy Corbyn has publicly stated that he wants a General Election because he believes that the embattled Labour Party under his leadership has a clear opportunity to take over the reins of Britain and Conservatives like Philip Hammond, Dominic Grieve and Rory Stewart are more than willing to destroy a Conservative government and open the way for a government led by Jeremy Corbyn.

Will the European Union openly support such possibility in spite of the obvious ideological differences and geopolitical repercussions? We are talking about major issues that include Britain's relationship with Iran, Saudi Arabia, Israel and, fundamentally, Britain's relationship with the USA and NATO.

And what about the unity of the United Kingdom? Jeremy Corbyn and John McDonnell openly supported the IRA and the unification of Ireland. The latter has been criticised for having in his constituency office images about the 'martyrs of the IRA'.

Under Tony Blair, there was talk about nationalisation but it was just talk. Under a Labour government led by Jeremy Corbyn with John McDonnell as Chancellor of the Exchequer, talk will become certainty.

Getting Brexit right, given the threats posed by a Labour government led by Jeremy Corbyn, becomes much more of a priority. The newly elected Lib Dem Leader did well to distance herself from a potential alliance with the present Labour Party. There is always the Law of unintended consequences. If the Remain Camp seeks to destroy a Conservative government, the Remain Camp will unleash forces that they will not be able to control

July 4th - For all the talk about rights, Force is always the ultimate deterrent

July 4th - For all the talk about rights, Force is always the ultimate deterrent

July 4th 1776 - Declaration of Independence. Such date is not only important for what is today the United States of America. It simbolizes the ultimate history lesson: if you want rights, you have to be willing to wage war to get what you want.

Britain is at a crossroads. We can talk about rights over and over again but in order to have rights you have to be willing to put your life in harm's way.

When you hear talk about politicians ignoring the outcome of the 2016 Referendum on European Union Membership, you understand very clearly that there are those willing to overule the popular decision. The question is: what are you willing to do to force them to respect the outcome of the Referendum?

This is a July 4th moment. Make no mistake about it. This is the moment when what you are willing to do matters. In 1776, people knew that there was going to be war. In 1776, people knew that losing was not an option and that many of them would have to give their lives to achieve the desired aim.

Adolf Hitler said that when war begins there are no civilians. Having fought in the trenches, he knew that in each conflict there are at least two sides and there is no disctinction between civilian and military. When German bombs fell on British cities and when Allied bombs fell on German cities, the message was very clear. The bombs would not tell the difference between civilians and military. The only issue was who was going to be alive when the bombing stopped.

The Liberal Democrats and their allies that include some in the Conservative camp have openly said that they don't recognize the outcome of the Referendum and have therefore classed themselves as the Enemy that needs to be defeated by those in the Leave camp.

At this  point in time, there is no Labour Party and no Conservative Party. There are two parties: Leave and Remain. This has all the characteristics of a Civil War and in a Civil War there will be casualties.

Rory Stewart: Deluded about pact with Brexit Party?

Rory Stewart: Deluded about pact with Brexit Party?

Rory Stewart
The  2019 local elections proved to be an absolute disaster for the Conservative Party that was punished for Theresa May's loss of public face. This was followed by the European Parliament Elections in which the Conservative Party was practically wiped out. As if this wasn't enough, in the Peterborough By Election, the Conservative Party was third behind the Brexit Party. The news that Rory Stewart contacted Nigel Farage to seek an agreement is the act of a desperate man that got barely 19 votes in the first round of the Conservative Party Leadership Election. Matt Hancock who got 20 votes walked away. But Rory Stewart went as a far as confirming that he is willing to destroy the Conservative Party following the path established by Philip Hammond. The fact that he was looking for a deal with the Brexit Party merely serves to confirm what Dominic Raab stated: If the Conservative Party doesn't deliver Brexit, the Conservative Party is finished.

Rumours that Boris Johnson could be confirmed even before two candidates are chosen to allow the Conservative Party Membership is given the opportunity to vote indicate that there is an awareness that should a leader be chosen that is not strong enough, not decisive enough, not enough of a believer in Brexit, this would be catastrophic for the Conservative Party. October 31st is the chosen date, the deadline. October 31st 2019 is the date to prove if the Conservative Party is a political force worth voting for. A new failure would not only condemn the new leader to a disgraceful departure. It would sink the Conservative Party. The Brexit Party is watching. Any hesitation in the Conservative Party will be a gigantic boost for the Brexit Party. Conservatives like Jacob Rees Mogg have spoken about including Nigel Farage in any future possible negotiation with the European Union.

In the meantime, in a desperate attempt to hold the Labour Party together, Jeremy Corbyn would be forced to offer a vote to Labour Party members so that any decision is not seen as Jeremy Corbyn's decision but as the Labour Party's decision. The Labour Party has already lost several Members of Parliament without an election being fought - Chuka Umunna joined the Lib Dems as Treasure and Business Spokesman. Not long ago, A high Profile Jewish MP resigned and accused the Labour Party of Anti-Semitism, accusation that was backed up by other Labour MPs who left to become independent. This happened after several MPs had become independent facing the certain danger of being deselected by their local constituencies.

Both Conservatives and Labour are in a state of flux. People are being asked who they will vote for if there was a General Election tomorrow. Lib Dems and Brexit Party come on top in terms of preferences. Some commentators who are politically aligned with the Labour Party have said that should Boris Johnson become leader the next step would be a general election but, perhaps, they are not taking into account the desperate state of both political parties and that in such general election the Conservative Party and the Labour Party risk coming third and fourth.

Confronting the possibility of Parliament being suspended to ensure that no one can prevent Brexit, Rory Stewart talked about using the Central Hall located not far from the Houses of Parliament to organise an alternative Parliament that would challenge the government but this looks very much like a political crisis of gigantic proportions not seen in Britain since the days of Oliver Cromwell and Charles I. Moreover, a motion put forward by the Labour Party aimed at preventing No Deal was defeated just days ago.

On Tuesday, June 18th 2019, the Second Round in the Conservative Party Leadership Election will take place. There are six candidates left in the struggle. Remainers like Rory Stewart will have to have enough support to survive because facing a Conservative Party Membership vote with grassroots that are mainly for Leave.

Rory Stewart publicly declares that he would usher the destruction of the Conservative Party

Rory Stewart publicly declares that he would usher the destruction of the Conservative Party

Rory Stewart
Rory Stewart, like Philip Hammond, is the voice of surrender to the European Union and he has publicly stated - like Philip Hammond - that he is willing to destroy the Conservative Party in the process if he doesn't get things his way.

Philip Hammond
Rory Stewart stated unequivocally to destroy Boris Johnson, the man that represents real Brexit and he is without a shadow of a doubt the spearhead of the Remainers in the Conservative Party.

Rory Stewart will be voicing the fears spread by some in the Labour Party, in the Lib Dem Party and in other political organisations including the Conservative Party that led to the downfall of Theresa May. Next week, we will see a regrouping of contenders in the leadership contest and both camps in the Conservative Party will be struggling for control. Remainers will be plotting against Boris Johnson that they see as the embodiment of Leave.

In the meantime, the Brexit Party that came second in the Peterborough By-Election effectively relegated the Conservative Party in the local elections and in the European Parliament Elections is now sending a clear message to the Conservative Party: "Get Brexit done or face political catastrophe." The Conservative Party of 1997 lost the election mainly because of internal divisions. The Conservative Party lost the local elections and the European Parliament Elections of 2019 and was relegated to third place in Peterborough. In this context, Rory Stewart could be seen as a political suicide not just for Rory Stewart but a political suicide for the Conservative Party if people like Rory Stewart get their way.

Emmanuel Macron's threats are playing into the hands of those who want to breakaway with a deal or without a deal. Treating Britain like a province of the EU or even a province of France, Macron - much more than other EU mandarins - is weakening the Remain camp factions that cannot even agree with each other as the Remain camp becomes ever more fragmented.

Is this the future of UK/USA relationship?

Is this the future of UK/USA relationship?

Jeremy Corbyn vs Donald Trump

The way things are going, this could be a real possibility. For the Leader of Her Majesty's Opposition to boycott the visit of the President of the United States of America is a very serious matter. Direct attacks like the ones launched by Emily Thornberry against President Trump and none other than the Speaker of the House of Commons John Bercow is no laughing matter. We are talking about very serious issues involved the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation and the emphasis on foreign policy.

This is not merely an issue of liking or not liking President Donald Trump. This is about the British Nuclear Deterrent and the whole Defence Strategy in Europe. One has to think that Emmanuel Macron's rush to lead the way towards the establishment of EU Armed Forces and an Independent EU Foreign Policy has a lot to do with the concerns generated by Jeremy Corbyn's ideological stances.

While the attention is focused on Brexit, President Trump's visit to the United Kingdom is undoubtedly about reassurances regarding Britain's position facing the possibility of Jeremy Corbyn becoming Prime Minister. It is expected that a new Conservative Prime Minister will be in place by mid-year and a clear cut solution will be found to prevent the rise of Jeremy Corbyn.

The Labour Party's Leadership is again under fire and the rise of both the Lib Dems on the Remain side and of the Brexit Party on the Leave side must have given some hope to the American Administration. President Trump has used warm words to describe his rapport with Boris Johnson as a potential Prime Minister and with Nigel Farage as Leader of the Brexit Party.

Alastair Campbell has expressed the view that without a clear definition the Labour Party would be doomed in a General Election. Much has been said about Chancellor Philip Hammond talking about bringing down the Conservative government in case of No Deal but do those oppose to Jeremy Corbyn really want the Labour Party to win knowing that Jeremy Corbyn would be the next Primer Minister.

A very advantageous Trade Agreement between the USA and Britain would favour a No Deal option and could prevent the rise of Jeremy Corbyn. A No Confidence Vote against the Conservative government would be a geopolitical disaster.

They say EU is Environmental Champion. Not really.

They say EU is Environmental Champion. Is it?

Those standing for the EU say that Britain would be worse off and talk about seeking guarantees that once Britain is out of the EU environmental policies will be maintained and promoted. Well, research shows that EU has not been helping the environment but hampering the efforts to protect the environment. In fact, the European Commission has been blocking climate action and making things more difficult for those trying to promote environmental policies.

Fact: Most electricity produced in countries like Germany and Poland is produced with coal. After the nuclear accident in Japan, Germany turned even more to electricity produced using coal. This is the reality, the rest is ill informed political hypocrisy. France, instead, trusts nuclear power and meets most of its needs using nuclear power instead of resorting to gimmicks.

All countries need a reliable supply of energy and speeches won't do but things can be a lot worse when the EU Commission itself is acting against alternatives to protect the environment.

The Nazi Milkshakes and others relevant issues

The Nazi Milkshakes and others relevant issues

When we accept or promote degrading acts against those we don't agree with we are promoting exactly what we say that we reject. We must respect all candidates and their supporters, we must have open debate without exclusions.

Britain is quickly becoming the new Weimar Republic because of lack of trust and widespread intolerance.

We have a responsibility to avoid excesses that could lead to tragedies.

This no longer about throwing milkshakes but the act of throwing things at people will produce an escalation of events. Lack of respect, physical aggression and ultimately death.

British Politics: When the two main political forces combined can barely manage to get 58% of votes cast the situation is pretty serious

British Politics: When the two main political forces combined can barely manage to get 58% of votes cast the situation is pretty serious

In times past, when the Conservatives were going under there was Labour waiting in the wings. When Labour was going under, the Conservatives were waiting in the rings. Now, we are facing a completely new scenario with both major political forces extremely divided and lacking the trust of the Electorate. In the end, everything depends on Leadership. Neither Jeremy Corbyn nor Theresa May have the support of the political parties they are supposed to lead and this makes both Labour and Conservatives unfit to govern.

The debacle in the local elections could be followed by an even bigger debacle in the European Parliament Elections. Some keep asking for a second Referendum when in fact the European Parliament Elections could be both the equivalent of a Referendum and of a General Election with two major alternatives based on the fundamental choices concerning the European Union.

I have never experienced in Britain such a political scenario in which so called mainstream parties have appeared so dramatically downgraded. The Liberal Democrats fared well because there was a very low turnout. What will happen when other political forces namely the Brexit Party and the Change Party enter the political arena. Those wanting to Leave will have a clear choice called the Brexit Party. Those wanting to Remain will have a clear choice called the Change Party.

Since the whole process is going to be about Leaving or Remaining, voters will not be limited by the usual party political choices. The European Parliament Elections will not be about Labour, Conservative, Liberal Democrats or Greens. Those wanting to ensure that their choice regarding the European Union is the winning ticket will put aside their usual allegiances.

In years past, people did not have to go to the Polling Stations twice in the same month: Local Elections on May 2nd 2019 and European Parliament Elections on May 23rd 2019.

One understands that at this very minute in the Labour Party and in the Conservative Party major efforts are being made to reach an agreement that could be approved by Parliament to prevent having to have European Parliament Elections. But I very much doubt that any agreement between the Leaders will have the necessary support in the House of Commons.

Is this the preamble of the creation of new political forces to replace the ailing Labour and Conservatives?

A useless Parliament opens the door to a political revolution

A useless Parliament opens the door to a political revolution. Democracy is overdue for renewal. Without renewal there will be violence and we are already seeing the seeds of violence. Britain needs Democratic renewal to avoid bloodshed.

UKIP Membership Criteria

UKIP Membership Criteria

By applying for membership of UKIP, I agree:
  • to abide by the UKIP Constitution and the Terms and Conditions of Membership
  • I am not and have not been a member of the British National Party, National Front, British Freedom Party, British People's Party, English Defence League, Britain First or the UK First Party.
  • UKIP reserves the right to reject or terminate memberships if these criteria are not met.
How does this affect those who work for UKIP but are not members? It doesn't affect those who are not members. Tommy Robinson is a service provider and a service provider that provides an unpaid service and therefore he is not affected by membership criteria.

Nigel Farage spoke about UKIP led by Tommy Robinson. Well, this is not remotely possible under present membership criteria. In order to lead UKIP Tommy Robinson would have to become a member. This is something Tommy Robinson cannot do because it is expressly forbidden by present UKIP membership rules. Nigel Farage over-reacted and terminated his own membership. Nigel Farage effectively broke away from UKIP.

One of UKIP's greatest weaknesses is Political Correctness. For a political party that came out to campaign against political correctness, UKIP has been manipulated by mass media to adopt membership criteria that other political parties - including so called mainstream political parties - do not have. Trying to be whiter than white, UKIP effectively excluded a massive number of voters that would have like to become members of UKIP and/or vote for UKIP. No rational individual would vote for a political party that doesn't want him/her to be a member. Therefore, whatever the present leader of UKIP wants or doesn't want to do, the fact remains that unless UKIP membership rules change the party would be shooting itself in the foot.

At one point, as leader, Niger Farage rejected any links with Front National and with Marine Le Pen. Curiously enough, Nigel Farage had a very visible presence at a gathering of Alternative für Deutschland. To this effect, consistency was absent. Front National (now Rassemblement National) is the second biggest political party in France. Alternative für Deutschland is the second biggest political party in Germany. They share a Nationalist agenda. How is the circle squared by Nigel Farage? It isn't squared. It cannot be squared.

Nigel Farage criticises what he calls the 'anti-Muslim agenda'. What is the agenda of both Alternative für Deutschland and Front National about Islam? Once, again, Nigel Farage is not consistent in this regard when he associated himself with Alternative für Deutschland.

Britain's recipes for disaster: Policing in crisis via irrational budget cuts

Britain's recipes for disaster: Policing in crisis via irrational budget cuts

The news that local communities are having to step in to replace absent Police Forces that have been cut to the bone to the point that they have become ineffective is not the image a successful country can offer to the world. The news that Britain doesn't have enough Border Police resources to patrol its own coast to prevent illegal immigrants from entering the country is not the image a successful country can offer to the world.

We can build very expensive aircraft carriers. We can have a Nuclear Deterrent. We can invest billions in Defence. But if we don't have the minimum resources to deal with vital areas of public security and public safety, we are doomed as a country.

Neither Conservatives, nor Labour, nor Liberal Democrats, none of the so called mainstream political parties have the vision that is need to keep Britain safe and this is why we need National Socialism to deal with public security and public safety, to ensure that everybody is safe without the stupidity promoted by Political Correctness.

When prisons are drugs and violence safe heavens, when we are not safe in our streets and in our own homes, when criminals known to Security Forces can carry out murderous attacks because we don't have neither the resources nor the intelligence to deal with threats we are doomed as a country.

For all the speeches about 'lessons will be learnt', Security Services in this country are not fit for purpose and the Political Establishment and the Mass Media are very much to blame for this nightmare.

Political Witch-hunt that will lead to violence

Political Witch-hunt that will lead to violence

There is a a new industry: the industry of political witch-hunt. Britain is becoming a Totalitarian State in which there are special interest groups that are out to create havoc that threatens to destroy public freedoms.

The irony is that of the havoc created the very same groups that promote havoc will suffer the lethal consequences of what they are doing because where is action there is reaction and this is not just a law of physics. It is a law of life. The one doing the persecution will become prey.

It is most visible when it comes to the political system. We see the Labour Party accused of Anti-Semitism and Racism. We see the Conservative Party accused of Islamophobia. We see individuals that raise the alarm about the abuses committed by Muslims gangs and about the very real risk created by Islamic Extremists being taken to court and jailed simply because they are doing a public service.

The Crown Prosecution Service is being abused and used thanks to political pressure applied by pseudo charitable organisations like the CAA and cases are being created out of thin air to please a minority that has the power to force the Crown Prosecution Service to re-instate cases that had been previously rejected for lack of merit. Rumour and innuendo have become evidence. Something said in anger or a careless comment or even a joke has now become evidence to prosecute individuals who are not engaged in criminal activities and who most likely would not engage in criminal activities and the general public is paying for such nonsense while real crime is spreading across the United Kingdom and left unpunished.

The mass media are also guilty party because they benefit from the climate of fear and uncertainty generated. We are not in Colombia but we might well become Colombia when public anger is directed against irresponsible mass media.

The British mass media are no longer seeking the truth. They are just propaganda machines and this includes the British Broadcasting Corporation that persecutes old ladies for not paying the TV License by pays unjustifiably generous contracts to pseudo stars in a system in which one day A interviews B and C, the next day B interviews A and C and the following day C interviews A and B and it is all part of a club of exceedingly well paid celebrities. This Nomenklatura of the mass media is being paid for by British taxpayers that are forced to swallow propaganda and lies of people who have got an anti-British agenda.

The messages of the mass media are there to justify the political witch-hunt by saying that is fine to go against fundamental rights of some people as long as the rights of those they support are protected. The promote the idea that certain people that they don't like are guilty simply because they are who they are and there will be consequences. The backlash is not far away when mass media and politicians that promote such way of thinking will be targeted and eliminated in a tit for tat operation.

The mass media, special interest groups and politicians will bring back the 1930s.

June 8, 2017 - UK General Election

UK General Election - June 8, 2017

Every election is a box of surprises and this election couldn't happen at a more dramatic time in the political life of the United Kingdom.

This is an election that will be played at different levels and undoubtedly the outcome could be life changing for the mass media including the BBC and Sky and also for the printed media who have absolutely against the idea of the United Kingdom leaving the European Union. But it also going to have a dramatic effect in the political balance in the country as a whole and in each of the component parts of the United Kingdom.

There are some fundamental questions. Will Caroline Lucas manage to survive a General Election? The only Member of Parliament representing Brighton could be on the way out. What could happen to the SNP majority in Scotland? Will local issues play a crucial role meaning the loss of seats in the House of Commons. Will they repeat the feat of 2015 when they got 56 out of 59 seats? Will SNP be able to keep its momentum in Scotland? What will happen in Northern Ireland where at the moment there is local government?

In England, a divided Labour Party that has effectively several leaders (the Official Leader - Jeremy Corbyn) and several unofficial leaders and plotters wishing to get rid of Jeremy Corbyn).

The Liberal Democrats hope that disaffected Labour voters will turn out to support them and allow them to overcome the dismal results of 2015 that left them with less than 10 Members of Parliament.

UKIP needs to find its way. The Conservative Party de-facto represents many of the views of UKIP and in fact called for the implementation of Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty. What can UKIP offer that is not already on offer by the Conservative Party?

The vote today in the House of Commons was remarkable in many ways. It was remarkable because of an overwhelming number of MPs that supported the government's call for a General Election. It was also remarkable because 13 Labour MPs voted against but it must be said that tens of MPs abstained.

Soon after, there was a series of announcements of present Members of Parliament that said that they would not be standing for re-election and it would be fair to say that they don't want to stand because they feel that they have no chance of being re-elected and they want to avoid the embarrassment of not being re-elected.

In any case, this promises to be a very interesting time in the political life of the United Kingdom.
