Are monies going where voters want monies to go?

 

What we call Democracy are merely a collection of blank cheques to be used in many ways other than the ways voters want their monies to be used.

In every election, voters are asked to support a given candidate and/or political party and many attend polling stations or use other ways of voting to make a choice. But what choice are they really making? Apart from marking their ballots, what choices are they really making?

In actual fact, they are just giving away their decision making powers to individuals that they hardly know or that they hardly ever meet for the said individuals to do as they please. They are given away the entitlement to make decisions. They are giving away their rights.

Democracy is based on illusions. Democracy is a mirage. Democracy is fiction. And the consequences of maintaining fiction can be and usually have been  catastrophic, because all voters can do is to vote down a political party to replace it with yet another ilusion months or years later. We lie to ourselves pretending that things will be better if so or so gets elected.

Elections are about how monies are used and when it comes to how monies are going to be used we have no choice whatsoever. We have got no choice in terms of where the monies are going to be coming from or how monies are going to be spent. Decisions about where the monies are going to be coming from are arbitrary and decisions about where the monies are going to go are equally arbitrary.

What we call Peace is in actual fact an ongoing War in which those who have little bargaining power are bound to lose.

This is why voters should be able to keep in their pockets as much of their monies as possible and be able to make their own personal decisions. The numbers of those in employment are debatable as they don't tell us the truth about subemploment, the kind of employment leading to even greater poverty. If in spite of working long hours you don't get enough to have decent life then you are not employed and you are actually a slave. This is Modern Slavery. If we were to discriminate between those who earn enough and those who do not earn enough then the numbers of those in real employment would be much lower.  

Palestine: Present troubles were triggered by the United Kingdom

Until 1948, Palestine was Palestine, but then Britain intervened and troubles began. After tne initial partition of Palestine, Israel went on swallowing bits and pieces of whatever was left of Palestine and this could only come at a price: a series of wars and atrocities that led to what is happening right now. Western powers completely ignored the local populations and newcomers from all over Europe settled down in what is now Israel. Present inhabitants mainly came from Eastern Europe and fron the then Soviet Union. Instead of integrating with the local populations, they brought their own customs and their own laws and their own systems of Apartheid in which local inhabitants were treated as second or third class citizens. Those who did not want to submit to the powers of the newcomers were isolated in ghettos that we know now as 'the occupied territories'. In fact, the whole of Palestine is 'occupied territories'.

British imperial myopia led to decades of atrocities and later on British mypia was replaced by American myopia and tragedies became a normal occurrence. We can talk about natural divisions and confrontations in the Middle East and Asia Minor, but we must also talk about how Western Powers benefitted from those divisions and confrontations to exploit natural resources that fed the industrial apparatus of the Developed World. For the USA, Britain and others people did not count at all. All they cared about was oil and their own geopolitical interests. They, the supposed heroes of Democracy, have no hesitation when supporting the exploitation of local populations by tyrannical rules. Tyrannical rulers only bother them if they are tyrannical rulers that they cannot control. As long as Saddam Hussein followed the diktats of the USA, he was a good dictator. The moment he turned againt US interests, he had to be eliminated. The same rules applied and apply to other regimes across the world. 

In Latin America, Henry Kissinger was the big mover of the so called Condor Plan, a system of cooperation between Latin American military dictatorships. The USA trained killers that terrorized their own peoples and torture and murder became commonplace with the full support of the US State Department. Now, President Biden talks about 'full support for Israel'. He does not even bother to mention that there are two sides in the conflict, but it is understandable since US has only cared for one side of those in the conflict. The USA does not give a damn about justice and human rights and this is easy to understand since certain peoples are not even seen as human beings. Those who are not part of the US geopolitical calculations do not exist and are totally expendable.

  

The young no longer believe in democracy and this is happening worldwide

 

Democracy remains popular across the world, but not amongst younger generations that have stopped believing in democracy. Within one or two generations, democracy could be a thing of the past.

Only 57% of those between the ages of 18 to 35 actually prefer democracy and are inclined to support military regimes.

The trend is understandable given the performance of political leaders and political representatives across the world. They have had more than enough of hypocrisy, corruption and failed promises. In countries like Argentina or the USA the first stages are already underway. Challenging established political parties is just the beginning and when the new Messiah fail to deliver, the road is open for other forms of government.

Another trend is that the younger generations don't watch the news, don't listen to the radio, don't read newspapers and are generally put off by politics altogether. There is a kind of fatalistic attitude indicating 'we cannot change anything', 'things can only get worse'. How much of the rejection is being fuelled by environmentalists and the talk about impending doom? If Man's existence on Earth is coming to the end, why should we care about democracy?

Ukraine: RAF actions in the Black Sea region will trigger war between UK and the Russian Federation

Black Sea is a battlefield and the British government is pushing Britain towards war. Any direct intervention is much more than provocation. It is an act of war. The British Prime Minister will a have a lot to explain if suddenly bombs start dropping in the United Kingdom because of an incident in the Black Sea Region.

This is not the Twentieth Century. This is the Twenty-first Century, a century in which a nuclear missile flying from Kaliningrad can reach London in 15 minutes, a missile that cannot be intercepted. Does Rishi Sunak think that this is a price worth paying?

During World War Two, the Wehrmacht did not have the capacity to launch nuclear missiles. No matter how damaging V1 and V2 were and in spite of the fact that they had to travel a lot shorter distances, they are nothing compared to a nuclear missile. To think that all main British cities could be wiped out in less than half a hour is a sobering thought.

Rishi Sunak broke a record by becoming the first Asian British Prime Minister - regardless of the fact that he was not elected by the British Electorate and was not elected by members of the Conservative Party, but appointed by Members of Parliament without the consent of members of the Conservative Party.

But if the Prime Minister happen to be in London when a missile attack takes place, not even the Prime Minister will have the time to leave London if London is attacked. He and more than 8 million Britons will perish.

Now lets look at the first direct consequences. There will be no British government and no Parliament. London will be a non existing city and people outside London will have to take over to manage whatever is left of Britain as a country. Democracy and elections will be a thing of the past for a very long time.

The first concern will be how to avoid a civil war caused by absence of authority. As the French saying goes, it will a case of 'sauve qui peut'. With London's population decimated and political authorities out of the way, chaos will immediately take over. For whoever manages to survive the impact of a nuclear device, life will not be easy. If radiation does not immediately kill any survivors of the first impact, many will suffer the consequences translated into all kind of diseases including incurable cancer. Riots and looting carried out by both desperate peoples and opportunists will make the entire city unsafe. All medical facilities and emergency services will no longer exist.

Somebody said that the next war will have similarities with regards to the previous wars, but that in essence it will be a different kind of war. In the 1930, France was preparing for yet another war of trenches similar to what happened during World War One and was totally unprepared for Blitzkrieg. As a direct consequence of the lack of preparedness, France was defeated in a few weeks. We don't know what fate has ready for us in the next war.

Colonial powers are colonial powers. USA and France try to control Niger using subserviant regimes and the people of Niger say NO by showing massive support for Niger's Armed Forces.

It is self-evident that the people of Niger have had enough of politicians and welcome the military takeover. This is not new. It has happened elsewhere and it goes to show that democracy that only exists by name, but not by substance is bound to be replaced from time to time.

As always, outsiders that go by titles and empty labels fail to recognize that representatives are not the people. When we say power to the people, by the people and for the people, we are not referring to elected politicians but to the citizens themselves that, disilusioned with politicians and the political system, decide to take matters into their own hands.

As it is usually the case, USA, France, the UN are controlled by the elites that believe that they know more than ordinary citizens who have to live or die because of decisions made by the elites. Suddenly, somebody based in Washington, Paris or New York believes that he or she knows more than the people of Niger what serves Niger. First step, they threaten Niger with financial sanctions. Second step, they threaten Niger with armed intervention. But they don't want to do it themselves. They use other countries that they control to do their dirty work. They will use African blood to bring Niger under control. This is modern slavery. The white masters will use black Africans to exert control. 

The Marikana Massacre in South Africa is a typical example of colonial domination, even under the ANC administration. When African miners asked for a salary rise, black South African Police killed black miners shooting them in the back to protect foreign interests. Even British journalists publicly called Niger a French colony and part of the French Empire. Any rebellion will be soaked in blood so that the colonial powers can continue exerting their power over Africa. This is the real example of racist domination. Not the fake protests carried out by fake protesters in the Developed World.

Members of Parliament under stress: Stress as the rule

We read headlines about Members of Parliament i.e. Ministers that fail to keep their tax affairs in order, sexual misconduct, harassment, vacations abroad when they should be delivering on their promises, et cetera, and we tend to treat Members of Parliament as a class apart. There are in theory 650 Members of Parliament, although in fact elected Sinn Fein MPs fail to attend the House of Commons because of their stances on Ireland and Northern Ireland. Some are very wealthy because of their own professional and business careers outside Parliament and others simply have to make do with what they get from salaries, privileges ande exemptions.

For those who represent London constituencies or nearby constituenties, life should not be that bad or any different from many other jobs in the capital city. For others who represent constituencies far away from London, life is constant travel to and from their constituencies and London. In recent times, given even of public notoriety, on top of the workload comes a series of reasons to be stressed. We are not far from another General Election. This means the fears of not being re-elected and of the consequences of not being re-elected. After very public tragedies, there is also the fear of being harassed, attacked or killed.

For whatever reason, apart from the obvious political reasons, your life could be on public display and this includes unwanted attention or attention for all the wrong reasons. This is something that is bound to have an impact on you personally and on the lives of all those close to you and especially on members of your own close family.

Once you stand for public office, you are a marked man or a marked woman. Whatever you said or didn't say, whatever you did or didn't do will be on record for all to see and you will be constantly reminded about it. So, yes, there is a lot of stress involved and especially if you are trying to do what you are supposed to be doing. You might lose your job not because of being doing a bad job, but simply because of public perception, because of what something else has done or is believed to have done.

Would you like stand for Member of Parliament? Well, although in some cases there is no shortage of candidates, in certain constituencies local associations struggle to find suitable candidates. Some are genuinely afraid of facing the stigma of being associated with a given political party. Family relationships will change. Friends might no longer be friend. Working prospects might change. You could become unemployable. If you are single or looking for a relationship, you will no longer be yourself. You will be so and so of a certain political party. People who have never met you will talk about you, write about you, invent things about you and some will despise you merely because you are associated with a given political party.

So, yes, being a Member of Parliament or being identified with a given political party can be a certain source of stress for all  kinds of reasons.

UK Elections: What for?

Who has real power? Elected representatives? the mass media? the trade unions?

When an MP, for whatever reason, falls from grace, what happens to democracy? Since the last General Election, and since other elections, we have seen Prime Ministers, Cabinet Ministers and other elected representatives exposed as either incompetent, corrupt or both. We can say as justification that those elected are as fallible and as vulnerable as anybody else, but we cannot avoid the consequences. Because they are constantly in the public domain and being talked about, their failings lead to lack of trust not just in them, but also lead to lack of trust in the democratic process.

This afternoon, a Police officer told me about his feeling about how the system to deal with mental health patients is not working and about how he encounters the same kind of situation on a daily basis. He said that having taken a mental health patient to an Accident and Emergency Department, the said patient usually ended up staying in the Accident and Emergency Department for more than 24 hours under police custody because he or she was not admitted into proper dedicated wards inside the hospital. He also told me about how patients are being discharged without proper treatment only to relapse to get involved being involved in life-threatening events. Departments meant to deal with mental health patients are over-capacity and tend to discharge patients before it is safe to do so. 

Now, this is a mental health issue, but it is also a political issue. One government after another, of all political colours, have failed to address the issue of what is done with mental health patients. We are dealing with mental health patients born and bred in the United Kingdom and we are dealing with people who arrive in the UK with mental health issues. We care more about dogs and cats than we care about people. We have more safeguards concerning dogs and cats, than we have safeguards concerning people. The recent Covid Pandemic is a perfect example. How long it took to close borders to present the spread of the disease? Were borders closed at all? On a daily basis we are admitting people who come into the country illegally and there are no safeguards regarding public health.

Even trust in Police forces is falling due to well-known incidents and this has been made worse by the fact that those in charge of Police forces have publicly stated that they don't have the tools to get rid of 'bad apples'. We know that there are individuals in uniform that are a certain liability when it comes to public safety and we accept it as fait accompli. We are supposed to elect representatives that will deal with these matters. So many failures tell you that democracy is not working. So much mismanagement and so many failures happen for a reason. Changing one political party for another will do nothing to change the core reasons that lead to such mismanagement and failures.There is something fundamentally wrong regarding the system itself.

People who pay more taxes must have a greater say in public affairs very much like a shareholder in a private company

Our Democracy is imperfect because the votes of those who contribute very little have the same weight of the votes of those who contribute a lot. The votes of those who pay more in taxes should count more than the votes of those who pay little or nothing. 

If you are a shaholder in a private company, your decision power depends on the number of shares that you have got and Democracy shouldn't be any different. You put more money in the pot then you should have more power to decide what to do and what not to do.

Therefore, people would be encouraged to contribute to more to have a greater say in public affairs. In Britain, it was necessary to have something to lose to be able to have a vote. Nowadays, everybody votes regardless of their contributions and this is wrong. The rule should be: 'Do you want to have a greater say? Contribute more.' The vote of a vagrant has the same power of the vote of a captain of industry. This wrong. The reason our Democracy is falling apart is that the idle are awarded the same rights that are awarded to those who work hard.

What is happening in Britain is absolutely shambolic. While politicians and mass media are focused on geopolitical nonsense, people in the UK are suffering and suffering ever more and not just because of rising interest rates and rising living costs, waiting lists in health services and almost impossible access to decent housing.

Ministry of Justice has announced that is cutting funding court support service for thousands of people who have to attend court sessions without legal representation and forced to represent themselves. Since legal aid cuts were introduced in 2013 the number of those who cannot afford to pay for a lawyer has skyroketted. By the end of June 2022, a service that has offices in 20 civil and family courts across England and Wales will be left without funding.

It is one of several charities working with unrepresented people in court whose funding is in doubt after the government ended its litigants in person strategy earlier this year. They have been told there will be grants they can apply for in future but given no idea of how much these will be, or what the timescales are.

Left with a £400,000 shortfall in its budget, Support Through Court is about to launch an urgent appeal for funds, without which it faces the prospect of redundancies and the closure of some of its offices.

Eileen Pereira, the chief executive of the charity, said: “Every day hundreds of people who can’t access legal aid walk into court buildings in need of support and guidance and this is only set to rise as the cost of living increases. Without the funding we’ve received for eight years, we’re facing the real possibility of closing the doors on the support we provide to these people.

“To end up closing any of our services would have a devastating impact, not just on the clients we support but on the whole court system.”

Legal aid was taken away in most civil cases and almost all private family law in 2013. Since then, the proportion of private family law hearings where both parties have a lawyer has almost halved to one in five.

In some family hearings it is not uncommon that just one of the litigants is assisted by a solicitor and this happens in 42% of all cases heard in courts across England and Wales. This creates all kinds of injustices as it generates an uneven playing field when it comes to disputes regarding access to childrena and separation of finances. 

While 81% of all those bringing civil claims – such as companies chasing debts – have lawyers, only 44% of those defending them are represented.

The Law Society of England and Wales President, I Stephanie Boyce, said: “Cuts to legal aid have left more and more people having to represent themselves in court as litigants in person. What they most need is legal advice and representation, but Support Through Court provides practical and emotional support that can help them through stressful court hearings. It would be another blow to people trying to navigate the justice system if state funding were removed for this important service.”

The funding shortfall faced by specialist legal and advice support services is £17.5m for 2022-23, according to data collected by the Community Justice Fund.

Look at the numbers. How much money is being diverted to foreign countries and how much money is being withdrawn from critically important services in the United Kingdom. 

A Ministry of Justice spokesperson said: “We want access to early legal support to be available to those who need it most and charities will soon be able to bid for new grant funding so even more people can benefit from their services.”

But the fundamental question is how it is possible that people in England and Wales are forced to attend court hearings without legal support simply because they cannot afford legal support and this goes to the core of the very definition of a justice system in the United Kingdom as a whole. Democracy? What Democracy? 

 

Democracy in Britain is being devalued and this is why politicians are afraid of 'extremism'.

Day after day, Democracy in Britain is being devalued. There is no real enthusiam in elections and the lack of enthusiasm is being reflected with low turnouts. It is almost inconceivable that we have reached the present state of affairs with one three out of four people entitled to vote not turning out to vote.

People are caught up between useless politicians that usually appear on the media for reasons that have nothing to do with real politics in a country in which inflation is going up and up without a hope regarding any rises of income for the vast majority of the population that has to put up with rising financial pressures without having the means to remedy what is going on.

Parliament is a circus, but there is no fun on the streets of Britain and there is no fun within political parties that are facing discontent within their own ranks and the discontent is becoming louder and louder putting into question party political allegiance.

Foreign conflicts are the way to divert attention from what is really happening at home and this is why mass media are so profusely used to maintain smoke screens around what is really happening inside the country itself.

Conventional democracy has been failing for decades and colourful speeches and false promises are becoming less and less effective and the judiciary has been increasingly used to prevent explosive situations that will ultimately occur in spite of all legislation issued by the British Parliament. 

Coming to the issue of by-elections and to the reasons why they are being fought, it comes to our attention that more often than not they are now due to criminal behaviour or presumed criminal behaviour of elected Members of Parliament. This is a time when public and private lives become entangled to the detriment of democratic institutions. There is always the presumption that corruption is widespread, but this is the time when corruption is in full display in the public domain.

Despite noisy scandals, how much of an impact do noisy scandals have in terms of the will of voters to support a given political party or a given candidate?How much influence do the mass media have to influence peoples' decisions? We are driven by assumptions, but we have little to support our assumptions in terms of what will be the outcome of the election.

I do assume that most of us are so busy dealing with our own particular problems and challenges and know so very little about what is being done on our behalf that we become mere spectators. We are represented but we do not choose those who represent us. This is the state of what we call democracy.

Democracy? Absolute contempt and stupidity

 

Thousands upon thousands of his compatriots face extreme situations and struggle to survive. He had a very privileged position and treated Parliament with absolute contempt.

You are not paid more than 80,000 Pound a year plus privileges to sit down in the debating chamber of the House of Commons watching pornography.

Let's be reminded that him and many others like him - men and women - are making life or death decisions on behalf of those who put them in the House of Commons.

Nobody expect them to be role-models, but they should aspire to be role-models given the positions that they occupy.

In Britain, there is a growing democratic deficit accompanied by repressive legislation that limits individual freedoms undermining faith in public institutions. Political stability is about trust. This is not happing in one political party. This is happening across political boundaries and it shows how downgraded the political class has become.

Western World: Things are going dramatically wrong and there is very little leadership on the horizon

Things are going dramatically wrong. All we see is chaos, division and confrontation. Balance is missing and people are taking to the streets. It won't be long before civil strife erupts and becomes widespread. The old certainties are no more and the political establishments offer no options, but the options to try and save themselves at the expense of everbody else.

Millions of eyes are watching as the Western World collapses and minds are thinking about replacing the old centres of power. Money is no longer a tool for power when money can be made by printing trillions of worthless banknotes. The real power is the power of disruption as businesses go bust and with them go the dreams of economic recovery and political stability.

Whether Covid-19 is a biological weapon or isn't a biological weapon is beside the point. The damage done to the Western World is now irreversible. Little will be as it was before. Societies have changed. Mass consumption as the main driver of the Western World is going down. People are now focusing on essentials that they need for survival. Whether the elites still buy stuff that no one actually needs is irrelevant. The masses are the real engine of economies across the world. If the consumption habits of the masses change, the world changes.

Covid-19 is not just killing individuals. Covid-19 is killing the Western World and Western World values. The mobs are not interested in the rule of law. The mobs have their own laws that are making peaceful coexistence virtually impossible. 

The political establishments have been shown for what they are: nothing more than money grabing scoundrels that protect their privileges while the rest fall apart. Democracy never was more than a word used to fool billons of people across the world.. The difference is that now we can clearly see Democracy as a fake product of mass manipulation created to protect vested interests.

When we accept or promote degrading acts against those we don't agree with we are promoting exactly what we say that we reject. We must respect all candidates and their supporters, we must have open debate without exclusions.

Britain is quickly becoming the new Weimar Republic because of lack of trust and widespread intolerance.

We have a responsibility to avoid excesses that could lead to tragedies.

This no longer about throwing milkshakes but the act of throwing things at people will produce an escalation of events. Lack of respect, physical aggression and ultimately death.

After all the hype of weeks or even months of political campaigning, of being bombarded by mass media with all kinds of conflicting messages and half-truths, polling day comes and you head towards the polling station to do your duty and choose from a list of candidates that have been pre-selected for you. Not your real choices. Not that you have any say before, during or after the votes have been counted. You are heading to a polling station to sign a blank cheque. Your are not choosing policies. You are merely voting for a certain individual/individuals that are going to be making their own choices and are going to be paid for making their own choices. We call it Democracy and are constantly told how lucky we are to have somebody making decisions for us.

They say that Referenda are imperfect. What could be more imperfect than putting a piece of paper inside a box without knowing what you are really voting for? And we do this in every single election. We are sold smoke and mirrors and we buy them every time because we have been told that this is Democracy. People vote in elections for a myriad of reasons and do so most of the time without having a clue about the consequences of doing what we are doing. We call this 'the Civilised Way of doing things."

I don't feel represented. Every time there is an election, I have to make a gigantic effort to believe and very often when it comes to selecting candidates I don't believe that I am doing the right thing. In one of the latest elections, I chose one candidate in particular because he was an Independent and did not represent political parties that I have come to profoundly disagree with or even hate. Given the way the system is, I already knew who the winning candidate was going to be and therefore knew that voting for the said Independent candidate was the equivalent of throwing a piece of paper in a waste bin. It was not a vote because of conviction. It was a vote not to vote for what I am against. 

When we read or hear about people being disenfranchised, it is not surprising that more and more people are disenfranchised. The reason the EU Referendum was so successful in terms of numbers of voters was that it was a binary decision about one fundamental issue: To be or not to be Members of the European Union. Many people felt than in spite of the frustrations generated by elections they could really and truly have a say and that it was a one-off opportunity in which their votes would really mean something.

Nowadays, and despite the fact that World War Two happened in the first half of the Twentieth Century, those who continue to use the world Nazi are de-facto promoting the ideas that led to World War Two.

Hardly a day goes by without Adolf Hitler and the National Socialist Movement being remembered because the mass media, political elites and a wide range of organisations that say that they oppose Adolf Hitler and the National Socialist Movement are in fact promoting Adolf Hitler and the National Socialist Movement by constantly reminding everybody that there was a National Socialist Movement.

In the USA, in the UK, in Germany, in Austria, in Poland, in Israel and even in some remote Asian country, the memories of Adolf Hitler and of the National Socialist Movement are being kept alive and if Adolf Hitler was alive today he would be puzzled by the fact that so many people that say that they would be against him are keeping him ever-present everywhere.

Because this is done on an industrial basis and 24/7, the probability of the rise of another National Socialist Movement growths exponentially as more and more people become disenchanted with what is on offer today in terms of political alternatives. The more people distrust Liberals and Marxist, the more attractive a National Socialist option becomes.

Democracies are by no means perfect but they are made worse by huge amounts of corruption, incompetence and uncertainty at a time when more and more people want certainty in a very uncertain world and this is exactly what led to the rise of National Socialism in Germany. The uncertainties in a country battered by war and by the consequences of war and of the Versailles Treaty led to the meteoric rise of the NSDAP that in 1933 took the reins of power in Germany. The more the political elites, the mass media and other interested operators talk against National Socialism the more attactive National Socialism becomes.

In Britain today,. people are being taken to court and being accused of extremism using anti-Terror Laws and what is the word used to catalogue them? Even in circumstances and events that have little or nothing to do with National Socialism, you can bet that certain labels will be used. Even Liberal politicians including democratically elected Presidents are being labelled with terms linked to World War Two and this helps maintain the memories of World War Two.

After the lethal attack against Jo Cox carried out by a man who the day before had asked and been denied mental support by the National Health Service and despite the efforts of the BBC, Sky News and the Political Establishment to depict the attack as a political motivated attack, the truth is that the said attack was de facto the consequence of a campaign of persecution against people whose only crime is not to agree with the policies of the so called mainstream political parties including the Labour Party.

Britain might be the only country in the entire world in which members of a legal political party that lawfully participes in elections are banned from certain professions. This is an interesting aspect remembering that many criticise National Socialist Germany for banning Jews from certain professions. Here the similarities between what Britain is doing and what happened in the regime headed by Adolf Hitler.

The then so-called anti-racist Member of Parliament launched a racist against Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt on Twitter. Mr Hunt's wife happens to be Chinese and the then Labour MP Helen Goodman publicly insulted her for being Chinese.

When other politicians including members of her own party reacted, she was forced to delete the twit and apologise but what counts are first intentions. She publicly used the ethnicity of the wife of Mr Hunt to launch a politically motivated attack.

Most politicians don't have a clue about money

Most politicians don't have a clue about money. They promise hundreds of thousands of new homes and all kinds of benefits but they don't know how they are going to pay for it.

Dianne Abbot is not alone. How many Police officers? How are you going to pay for them? Quite a few promises but not the knowledge or the ability to reply.

We have 650 Members of Parliament. How many of them are actually fit for purpose? Tuition Fees anyone? Nick Clegg and the Liberal Democrats made promises about Tuition Fees and they didn't actually deliver. But they are not alone in this kind of habit. The Green Party makes promises about this and about that. Well, the Green Party can promise whatever because they absolute know that they will not have to deliver. They can fool those who vote for the Green on the ticket of Saving the Planet.

We call it Democracy. Democracy? So paying for more than 800 Members of the House of Lords is Democracy? Paying for ignorant idiots who use the words Racist and Anti-Semite to stop having a real debate is a complete waste of money, time and space.

What the so called Remainers are angry about is that they stand to lose all the privileges that they get for doing absolutely nothing. Year on year, the United Kingdom has been sending truckloads of money to support a useless bureaucracy called European Union.

Why did the British people vote to Leave? Because they don't want to be robbed both in the United Kingdom and in the European Union. For more than forty years, the United Kingdom has been milked by parasites and the parasites are angry because a growing number of people who are aware of their deeds don't want to continue supporting their lifestyles.

The issue about Elections in the United Kingdom is not only about First Past the Post and Proportional Representation. We need to take control of British politics. Do we need more than 800 Lords and 650 Members of Parliament? What about regional assemblies? What about local and regional authorities? Where is the expertise that justifies the election of individuals that don't have a club about what they are doing or promising to do?

Democracy has been degraded by the very same people who are supposed to defend Democracy. It will come the day when the very existence of Democracy will be questioned.

Britain: Is it the only country in which members of political parties are banned from jobs and persecuted?

In Britain, this is not true. Not everyone one that has a voice is heard or allowed to be heard. Moreover, members of certain political parties that take part in elections are banned from jobs in the public administration and even silenced by the mass media.

As if this wasn't enough, there is a very intentional approach implemented to prevent the general public from hearing the views of certain political parties and to all intents such behaviour is blatantly anti-Democratic and violates fundamental rights that should be protected in a Democratic society.

As if this wasn't enough, private organisations are financed to organise rallies that very often lead to violence against members of the said political parties and there is a deliberate attempt to demonise, libel and define political organisations and members of the said organisations. The so called blacklist do exist which means that belonging to certain political parties or having been a member of certain political organisations that legally take part in British elections have no access to jobs. This is no Democracy whatsoever.

Mikhail Gorbachev: Promises are Promises

Mikhail Gorbachev was the last Head of State of the Soviet Union but was also the man that opened the way for what many thought was going to be a new relationship between West and East.

Mikhail Gorbachev presided the re-unification of Germany and the withdrawal of Russian troops from Eastern Europe, withdrawal that came with promises made by the United States that NATO would not expand towards the East and promises that were broken by the United States.

Many people celebrated the coming down of the so called Berlin Wall and the Re-Unification of Germany and among them were the Western Leaders that today attack Russian Reunification with the return of Crimea to the Russian Motherland.

Constant interference in Russian Affairs, constant pressure against Russian Interests and the Expansion of NATO towards the East including the idea of installing missiles in the Czech Republic and in Poland have dominated US Foreign Policy towards Russia.

The American Doctrine of Predestination is the equivalent of Mein Kampf, a political ideology that is behind so called Neo-Conservatism in the United States. Wherever the priests of Neo-Conservatism go there is upheaval, either political, military or financial or all at the same time because upheaval is a way of controlling foreign countries to serve the interests of the US Elites that have supported illegal invasion, torture, political assassinations, military and financial aggression and dictatorial regimes, so long as they benefit their particular interests.

Once again, Mikhail Gorbachev appeared as a voice of sanity and celebrated the return of Crimea, a Russian region with more than 200 years of Russian history to the Russian Family in the Russian Federation.

The American Media, accustomed to American Military Aggression, compared the US to the Russian Federation and got things wrong. Perhaps the record of the US in Afghanistan, in Iraq, in Libya, in Egypt, in Syria, across Latin America, in Africa, in Asia (not forgetting Vietnam) and in Asia Minor where the US supported the use of chemical weapons by Saddam Hussein against Iran having previously supported a coup in 1953 against a fledging Democracy in Iran, didn't allow them to see that the Russian Federation behaved in a completely different manner.

In Crimea there were no tanks, no bombardment, no widespread destruction. The transition took place with a Referendum with the participation of more than 85% of the people including every segment of the population and more than 95% agreed that Crimea should be reunited with Russia.


A country like the US, accustomed to use violence instead of reason and peaceful means, could hardly understand that the people in Crimea could decide by themselves in a Referendum. Moreover,  we should mention how the US is run. Election in the US have little to do with Democracy and have very much to do with how much money you have to buy votes using the mass media.
