World Conflicts: what we see is an exercise of imperial power and control

World Conflicts: what we see is an exercise of imperial power and control

Across the world people are being killed in an exercise imperial and colonial power. In 1953, the path towards democracy in Iran was killed by the United States and by Britain. They both wanted Iranian oil and gas resources but a democratic regime stood on their way. Without hesitation, United States and Britain distabilized Iran and appointed the Shah as ruler of Iran.

A puppet regime was the perfect solution to satisfy American and British greed, but this was not going to last. With the rise of the Islamic Revolution, the Shah was deposed and a theocratic regime took over control of Iran.

The plan has always been to steel Iran´s resources and the present war by proxy against Iran is very much part of the plan. The criminal regime that rules Israel has no qualms in going around mass bombing and mass murdering. So the unprovoked attack against Iran comes as no surprise. It has been planned all along. Did they do the same about Iraq? Of course they did, but it backfired. It totally destabilized Iraq and produced a wave of violence that goes beyond the borders of Iraq.

Adolf Hitler wrote in Mein Kampf that a war with several fronts was serious mistake and it was precisely a war on several fronts that brought the demise of National Socialist Germany. As the Roman Empire and many other empire before and after fell down, the so called West faces dangers that itself contributed to create.

There is a direct link between geopolitics and national politics and it goes without saying that actions on the international arena are generating consequences at national level. The words of German Chancellor Friedrich Merz were "this is the last chance for Germany". Well, he is doing everything possible to get Alternative für Deutschland elected as the new government of Germany. The more he engages Germany in a disastrous set of foreign policy actions, the sooner the rotten CDU/CSU will fall to bits. Bridges falling in Germany. Public buildings that cannot be repaired. The images of bridges falling and public buildings that cannot be repaired are the best images to represent what CDU/CSU are doing to Germany.

Julian Assange: Sweddish Authorities drop charges against Julian Assange

Julian Assange
Swedish Authorities dropped charges against Julian Assange

Many years have passed since Julian Assange was forced to seek asylum at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London. Faced with the possibility of being the victim of political persecution by the US State Department, he opted for political exile seeking refuge at a Latin American Embassy in the United Kingdom.

The United States of America trumped up charges against Julian Assange after the US State Department classified Mr Assange as a National Security Risk because the organisation led by Mr Assange was revealing information concerning US dirty business.

The fact the Swedish authorities have now dropped charges against Mr. Assange more than proves that the whole case about Mr. Assange was a complete fabrication with the intent of taking Mr. Assange to Sweden and for there to the United States.
Despite the fact that Swedish Authorities have dropped charges against Mr. Assange, British Police sources indicate that they would still arrest Mr. Assange if he tried to leave the Ecuadorian Embassy in London. Therefore, Mr. Assange plight continues since US State Department wants to use every means, including illegal means, to seek the extradition of Julian Assange to the United States.

With every news about the case, the motives behind false accusations against Mr. Assange become more and more clear. A country that justifies rendition flights, detention with trial and torture, political assassinations, illegal invasions, and attacks against countries that are not at war with the USA would stop at nothing to get its own way.

Mikhail Gorbachev: Promises are Promises

Mikhail Gorbachev was the last Head of State of the Soviet Union but was also the man that opened the way for what many thought was going to be a new relationship between West and East.

Mikhail Gorbachev presided the re-unification of Germany and the withdrawal of Russian troops from Eastern Europe, withdrawal that came with promises made by the United States that NATO would not expand towards the East and promises that were broken by the United States.

Many people celebrated the coming down of the so called Berlin Wall and the Re-Unification of Germany and among them were the Western Leaders that today attack Russian Reunification with the return of Crimea to the Russian Motherland.

Constant interference in Russian Affairs, constant pressure against Russian Interests and the Expansion of NATO towards the East including the idea of installing missiles in the Czech Republic and in Poland have dominated US Foreign Policy towards Russia.

The American Doctrine of Predestination is the equivalent of Mein Kampf, a political ideology that is behind so called Neo-Conservatism in the United States. Wherever the priests of Neo-Conservatism go there is upheaval, either political, military or financial or all at the same time because upheaval is a way of controlling foreign countries to serve the interests of the US Elites that have supported illegal invasion, torture, political assassinations, military and financial aggression and dictatorial regimes, so long as they benefit their particular interests.

Once again, Mikhail Gorbachev appeared as a voice of sanity and celebrated the return of Crimea, a Russian region with more than 200 years of Russian history to the Russian Family in the Russian Federation.

The American Media, accustomed to American Military Aggression, compared the US to the Russian Federation and got things wrong. Perhaps the record of the US in Afghanistan, in Iraq, in Libya, in Egypt, in Syria, across Latin America, in Africa, in Asia (not forgetting Vietnam) and in Asia Minor where the US supported the use of chemical weapons by Saddam Hussein against Iran having previously supported a coup in 1953 against a fledging Democracy in Iran, didn't allow them to see that the Russian Federation behaved in a completely different manner.

In Crimea there were no tanks, no bombardment, no widespread destruction. The transition took place with a Referendum with the participation of more than 85% of the people including every segment of the population and more than 95% agreed that Crimea should be reunited with Russia.

A country like the US, accustomed to use violence instead of reason and peaceful means, could hardly understand that the people in Crimea could decide by themselves in a Referendum. Moreover,  we should mention how the US is run. Election in the US have little to do with Democracy and have very much to do with how much money you have to buy votes using the mass media.
