Rishi Sunak vs Keir Starmer?

Recent years in Britain has been the scene of a political catastrophe, from David Cameron, Theresa May, Boris Johson, Liz Truss and Rishi Sunak to the soon to be Prime Minister Keir Starmer. Is this a fait accompli or could there be other developments in the making?

Looking at the teams - and this is about teams - what are the major differences between the two teams?

This is a specially tricky time both in national affairs and in international affairs. There are major concerns in terms of international events that could send countries over the edge. We need to look in both directions - across the Atlantic to see what is happening in the USA and across the Channel to see what is happening in France. If the unthinkable happens, whoever is Prime Minister in Britain might be dealing with Donald Trump in the USA and with Marine Le Pen in France.

Could we end up with a hung Parliament? Could the unthinkable happen leading to a Conservative win, whatever tight it might be?

If anything, apart from mass media reactions and the fact that not less than 73 Conservative MPs announced that they will not be standing for re-election, there is widespread apathy. Could the Labout Party be divided along national borders, ethnic differences and ideological differences to the point that an easy victory can turn out to be not just a tight victory but also a tight defeat?

Who can we believe? Can we believe mass media? Both major parties are losing membership support and voters are crossing new boundaries. Both Greens and Reform did pretty well all things considered and this in local elections - particularly in London. Could disaffected voters look for other alternatives?

Immigration Changes: changing national legislation and adherence to international treaties?

Changing national legislation and adherence to international treaties?

Statements have been made: legislation is going to be changed to allow Britain to overcome legal obstacles to deal with migration.

After the judgement issued by the Supreme Court regarding government agreements with Rwanda about migration management, questions have been raised in terms of how the British government is going to manage to overcome legal obstacles.

We await the texts of new bills that will have to be produced by Parliament to achieve declared aims so that the idea of sending migrants to Rwanda does not become a kind of round trip with people sent to Rwanda being returned by Rwanda to the United Kingdom in order to comply with legislation.

Declaring that Rwanda is a safe country might not be nearly enough if for any reason Rwanda decides to deport migrants back to the United Kingdom. What would be the point of accepting migrants back in Britain? Is this yet another plan destined to fail?

Can anybody come up with a viable plan, instead of proposing yet another gimmick?

In past months, hotels and recreational facilities have been filled up with illegal migrants. Even a barge was acquired to accommodate illegal migrants. Monies were paid to Rwanda for a plan that the Supreme Court declared illegal.

Another political embarrassment? We await with impatience the text of legislation promised by the government that will have to deal with the issue of illegal migration effectively.

Failure to deliver in this particular scenario when the Prime Minister and Cabinet members have committed themselves so publicly is political suicide.

Rishi Sunak: Whatever it takes, we are going to deliver

Today, I saw Rishi Sunak acting Prime Ministerial. We are going to deliver whatever it takes

Firstly, he was respectful and accepted the verdict of the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court acted within its remit according to existing legislation and international agreements.

But then he rose as Prime Minister and stated loud and clear that he would put through Parliament legislation to ensure that Britain can protect its borders and protect national interests. Basically, he stated that the country must never give up its sovereignty.

James Cleverly as a former Foreign Secretary and new Home Secretary stated that the boats will be stopped and the new Foreign Secretary and former Prime Minister David Cameron was there to emphasize exactly the same message. Michael Howard, former Party Leader, was also fast to support the Prime Minister and his determination to deliver regarding one of the hottest issues of the political agenda.

It is almost as if events of recent days and months have generated a transformation. Preventing Illegal migration might become the defining moment of a new Conservative Administration. This is the ultimate test of his political career. Defeat is not an option. He must deliver.

Gone with the wind: Where shall I go? What shall I do? Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn.

The now former Home Office Secretaty was expressly asked by the Prime Minister not to make a certain statement and she, ignoring the concerns of the Prime Minister, went ahead and made the statement.

Direct consequence? She is now out of a job. She left Rishi Sunak with no choice. She had to be sacked because she was underming the authority of the Prime Minister.

Now, as a backbencher, she can say whatever she pleases as long as she does not get herself in any other mess that could lead her to lose the party whip for bringing the Conservative Party into disrepute. After her dismissal she stated that in coming days she will have something to say. Well, it will depend on what she says and the way in which she says what she says. She is desperately to be controversial in order to raise her profile, but she is managing to raise her profile for the wrong reasons. Saying outrageous things that promote violence is not the right course of action. Ignoring the authority of the Prime Minister is not the right course of action. She aligned herself with those who are on a collision course with the Conservative Party.

The arrival of David Cameron in difficult times when it comes to geopolitical issues sends a clear signal. Rishi Sunak is now trying to surround himself with heavyweights and the former Prime Minister David Cameron might be invigorated after a necessary vacation after the battles that he himself had to fight to keep the Conservative Party together during the Brexit war. Let's see what David Cameron can put on the table to salvage a struggling Conservative Party.

It is an interesting time with David Cameron as Foreign Secretary and Boris Johnson as GB News presenter. What will Boris Johnson have to say about the new Cabinet?

Labour's true colours: Margaret Beckett

Labour's true colours: Margaret Beckett

Margaret Beckett
We are so focused on Jeremy Corbyn that we have perhaps missed what Margaret Beckett, a veteran Labour MP, wrote for all to see. She advised Labour MPs to reject any deal that Prime Minister Boris Johnson agrees.

This is what defines Labour: Opposition for opposition sake. Not what benefits the country but what she things would benefit Labour's electoral chances. Not the well-being of Britain but the selfish attitude of profesional politicians who couldn't care less about Britain.

And it is precisely such attitude that really and trully damages her party's electoral chances. The Liberal Democrats have stated and stated over and over again that they want to Remain and they will campaign in a General Election to Remain. The Conservative Party's position is to Leave on October 31, Deal or No Deal.

On top of this there is a group of policians the left either the Labour |Party or the Conservative Party that find themselves in the wildnerness as Independents or as members of meaningless political parties with very limited or non-existing chances of getting back to the House of Commons if a General Election was called.

The SNP has no intention of doing anything that could benefit Britain. Their agenda is the partition of Britain. They have said it over and over again and in spite of having declared itself a non-British political party they continue to act as a hurdle in the House of Commons. So the worst the political crisis, the happier the SNP becomes.

Can we call this Parliament a representative Parliament? Representative of what? Just a few hours ago, the Labour Shadow Foreign Secretary said that the Liberal Democrats were Taliban. Chucka Ummuna, the rising Labour Party star that turned against the Labour Party, has become the most poisonous enemy of his former friends. And what about the rebel Anne Soubry? Well, she cross the Conservative Party and became independent to form a group with former Conservative and Labour MPs only to be betrayed and left in no man's land. Her fortunes changed after Change UK failed miserably in the European Parliament Elections. So once again we pose the question. Representative of what? This is the Parliament in which the Opposition ran away from a General Election proposed by Prime Minister Boris Johnson not once but several times.

My position in this matter is pretty clear and straightforward. We don't have a democratic and representative Parliament. This Parliament has devalued itself to such extent that it is moving away from the Electorate while claiming to be legitimate.

Next week, the Supreme Court will announce its verdict: Was prorogation legal or illegal? It is said that whatever the outcome, Prime Minister Boris Johnson will not recall Parliament and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II finds herself caught up in the middle. She approved prorogation and with this act declared that prorogation is legal. Funny situation to be in if the Supreme Court moves against the Monarch.

But in a country in which nothing is sacred anymore anything could happen. Former Prime Minister David Cameron broke away from tradition and revealed what should have been kept as a secret for all. time. He made revelations about his dealings with the Monarch and in a unusual move the Royal Household publicly announced its displeasure regarding the actions of David Cameron.

The decision of the Supreme Court regarding a very political matter - if it is goes against Prime Minister Boris Johnson's prorogation of Parliametn - could also mean that separation of powers that must exist in any democracy no longer exists and we could enter the worst of all worlds - a corrupt and anti-Democratic Parliament, a compromised Judiciary and an Executive forced to take action against Parliament while ignoring the Supreme Court.

All this could have been avoided if the Opposition had agreed to call a General Election. Instead, a bad situation could become a lot worse.

Brexit, Government, Parliament and the Courts: And now what?

Brexit, Government, Parliament and the Courts: And now what?

The solution implemented by David Cameron as Prime Minister to have a stable Parliament in coalition with Lib Dems - Fixed Term Parliament Act - has turned into a nightmare that has led to a political. crisis of major proportions. In a catch 22 situation, both sides of the argument have ended up in the courts to try and find a way out while at the same time whatever is left of a democratic system is simply falling apart.

A Remain Parliament was always going to resort to legal tricks not to respect the will of the Electorate that voted to get Britain out of the European Union. Despite several attempts by the British Prime Minister to call a General Election, Parliament used the Fixed Term Parliament to prevent a General Election and this is the Parliament that calls itself Democratic.

The Scottish Court was always going to play the game in favour of SNP. It remains to be seen what will be the position of an United Kingdom Courts. The verdict is expected to be announced on Tuesday next week. The Fixed Term Parliament Act has destroyed separation of powers and is creating a climate of confrontation that at the moment is about heated arguments but could easily turn into violent confrontation.

Today, the reasons why Jeremy Corbyn doesn't want a General Election - although he talks about it but doesn't want to vote for it - became apparent once again when John Watson - Labour Party Deputy Leader - contradicted the Labour Leader and was attacked by from within the Labour Party. How many Labour Parties there are? Who knows? And this is the Labour Party that according to some of its representatives aspires to govern Britain.

A Labour Party that is anti-Semitic, supporter of terrorist organisations including the IRA, that despises Britain's greatest ally - the United States of America - and stands to defend and protect its foes is a recipe for disaster both nationally and internationally.

Just a few days ago, the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited Number 10 Downing Street. Can you imagine British/Israeli relations with Jeremy Corbyn as Prime Minister? British weapons for Iran, Hamas and Hezbollah? Partition of the United Kingdom and unification of Ireland?

The SNP's only agenda is to cause as much disruption as possible - even Civil War - because the SNP couldn't care less about Britain. SNP wants to partition Britain to get Scottish Independence. It is going to take advantage of every British crisis to get its way.

What will happen next week? Well, we don't know what will happen tomorrow or the day after. Remember the old Yugoslavia.

David Cameron: More clever than people actually give him credit for

David Cameron is more clever than people actually give him credit for. At his age, he has vast amounts of assets that allow him to live the kind of life that he wants to live. When he resigned as Prime Minister, he walked away with a happy tune. Now, he resigned as Member of Parliament.

Having been Prime Minister and the man of the day, would you like to spend time sitting on the backbenches listening to endless debates? What for? David Cameron is a pragmatic man. He doesn't need to waste his time and he has plenty more things to do that would be a lot more meaningful for him and his family.

The mass media immediately went on the attack talking about pseudo conspiracies and rivalries as the reason for his resignation as Member of Parliament. What a bunch of idiots! David Cameron does not need to work anymore. He doesn't need to put up with tedious politics and silly arguments.

David Cameron has already achieved his political ambitions while many others can only dream with getting to where he has got. Now, it is time to live life to the full without a care in the world.

Theresa May - New British Prime Minister

From Wednesday, July 14th 2016, Theresa May will be the new British Prime Minister after a very fast Leadership Campaign in the Conservative Party.

Both David Cameron and Theresa May had publicly stated their decision to implement what the British Electorate decided on June 23rd, 2016 on a UK Referendum on EU Membership.

Given public statements made by EU leaders regarding the need to kick start the application of Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty, there are no longer reasons to delay the implementation of the said process of withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union.

This is why it is of paramount importance to launch an information campaign so that both British Citizens and EU Citizens are made aware of their rights and in particular of Rights of Residence in the United Kingdom and in the European Union.

We have met a Member of Parliament and delivered a signed letter stating that it is extremely important that the British Public knows about the rights of EU Citizens in the United Kingdom and that EU Citizens themselves know about their rights in the United Kingdom as a way to allay fears and counter bullying and harassment.

We have studied present legislation in the United Kingdom with regards to immigration and have concluded that the best way to protect the rights of both United Kingdom Citizens and European Union Citizens is to proceed with absolute fairness and clarity as part of a process characterised by goodwill that will benefit all.

European Union Prosperity?

European Union prosperity? Statements made by politicians that talk about the benefits for the United Kingdom as a member of the European Union seem to be based on hot air. Looking at unemployment levels, one wonders what would the situation be if David Cameron and George Osborne were saying the the European Union is not prosperous.

With unemployment at 45 per cent, Spain is not far from Greece's 49%, followed by Italy with 39%, Portugal with 30%, France with 26% and UK with 13%.

We haven't even started talking about what is considered as 'being employed'. Zero Hour Contracts and Sub-Employment - working for a few hours with very low pay - it is seen as 'being employed'. If we add up the numbers of those working less and/or earning less, then unemployment numbers would be much higher, adding on top the number of those who are neither employed nor registered as unemployed.

David Cameron, George Osborne and others fail to make the economic case for the United Kingdom to maintain its European Union membership. They fail the political test when they support an un-elected European Commission as the Executive body of the European Union and they failed to make the case also when it comes to immigration.

Having failed on all three counts, all they have left in an endless list of threats to terrorise the British public as the number of people wanting to see the backs of David Cameron, George Osborne and their acolytes steadily grows.

A veteran who lost his legs fighting for Britain in Afghanistan had to apply three times for citizenship

Cayle Royce

A South African who joined British Forces in Afghanistan and lost his legs fighting against Taliban had to apply three times for British Citizenship despite the fact that he had been awarded an MBE.

One wonders how many times those who have done practically nothing for Britain and come to Britain to milk the Welfare State have to apply for British Citizenship before they actually get it.

The buck stops with the British Prime Minister David Cameron, the clown that walks around talking about how much he cares for the British Armed Forces.

If David Cameron and the cohort of those who support him really cared about those putting their lives on the line of fire for Britain, they would put legislation through the House of Commons to ensure that the shambolic system a British veteran had to face is no more. We will have to check the records of the House of Commons to see if the South African soldier's plight was ever mentioned. Since Cayle Royce was awarded an MBE I have to conclude that Cayle Royce was mentioned in the Houses of Parliament but those in charge of the Home Office seem to have been unaware of who they were dealing with.

Falkland Islands: Ready for the taking.

How long will the Falkland Islands be Falkland Islands? The question has been raised and looking at the headlines of the press this morning there is every reason to feel unsettled.

Total garrison: 1,200 troops. Total Air Force: 4 Total Naval Deployment: 1

The news is for those who have not been following developments that with the present military capabilities, the United Kingdom will not be able to repel any invasion and following an invasion will not be able to dislodge any invading forces.

President Cristina Fernandez Wilhelm said that during his presidency the Falkland Islands would be taken by Argentina. There are elections in Argentina this year. In 1982, there was a Conservative government in Britain with Margaret Thatcher at the helm when the Conservatives were basically dismantling the British Armed Forces and mothballing its Naval Forces. Incidentally, there is a Conservative government in Britain with David Cameron at the helm and in the last few years they have been dismantling British Armed Forces.

Disabling airfield facilities in Falkland Islands will be extremely easy and once airfield facilities are disabled the Islands will be there for the taking because Britain no longer has a task force and without plane carriers there cannot be air superiority. You know exactly what this means. It means that the new Argentina jets (a much better version than the French Mirage Argentina had in 1982) will be able to reach Falklands Islands, sink any British ships around, and remain in the skies of Falkland Islands for a lot longer than the French Mirage ever could without refueling.

In a desperate attempt, it was announced today that Britain will be beefing up 'Falkland Islands Defenses'.

In 1982, Argentina was a military dictatorship that was at odds with its Chilean counterpart. For that reasons, Argentina could only send mainly conscripts to Falkland Islands being forced to maintain the vast majority of its Armed Forces in Continental Argentina to protect the military dictatorship and to prevent a Chilean attack. Relations with Chile had been strained because of a territorial dispute about the Beagle.

In 2015, there is no military dictatorship in Argentina, there is no strained relations with Chile and the will to retake Falkland Islands is stronger than ever before in a continent that has a very traumatic rapport not just with UK but also with the US. This means that Argentina could a vast amount of professional troops to Falkland Islands and this having learnt the lessons of 1982.

Fitting tribute to David Cameron: 'You should try to integrate with them'

As Remembrance Day approaches, the words of David Cameron still ring in my ears: "you should do more to integrate with them."

I know that David Cameron, like practically everybody else, must have a sense of humour but even coming from somebody like David Cameron humour has its limits, especially after individuals like these murdered a British soldier in Woolwich, in the capital city of the United Kingdom.

When they are not roaming the streets of Britain in search of innocent children to rape, they walk around burning national symbols or plotting to blow up the country or perhaps saving for travel expenses to join a criminal organization in the Middle East.

More than 1,400 cases of sexual abuse in Rotherham, surpassed by 13,000 cases reported in Manchester and reports that the said followers of Islam are 'at it' across the UK.
Apparently is not enough with having to watch the pictures of those beheaded by the animals these beasts support. We are still forced to see them on the streets of Britain. You could say that they are a nasty version of Halloween.

Mark Reckless faces the fury of the Conservative Party

Mark Reckless
Mark Reckless, MP for Rochester and Strood, left the Conservative Party and joined UKIP for the very same reasons that just a few days ago another Conservative MP - Douglas Carswell - resigned and led to a by-election in Clacton. Neither of them believe in the Leadership of David Cameron.

Regardless of what happens in Clacton and Rochester and Strood in the coming by-elections, this shows very clearly that the chances of the Conservative Party of being able to form a coalition in 2015 are slim,

Prime Minister David Cameron managed to keep the Union together with no little amount of scaremongering and straightforward lies and deceit - the same kind of scaremongering, lies and deceit used to avoid a Referendum on British Membership of the EU. Winning elections and gaining representatives is one thing. Losing them because those elected to represent the Conservative Party no longer believe in the Conservative Party is quite another.

Not long ago, in many areas across Britain, Conservative Party Councillors were wiped out. Many long standing Councillors were so aware of the situation that they chose not to stand just to avoid the embarrassment of defeat.

Parliamentary Secretary for Civil Society - Brooks Newmark sending explicit pictures of himself over the Internet?

Brooks Newmark
Parliamentary Secretary for Civil Society Brooks Newmark resigns over a sex scandal involving posting explicit pictures of himself over the Internet.

Who is Brooks Newmark is the Conservative MP for Braintree. He was born in the USA and was educated at Harvard and Oxford, becoming a specialist in foreign affairs and economics. His target area is Middle East/India.

The new Minister for Civil Society, who co-founded the campaign group Women2Win, initiated a private message conversation on a social networking site and as part of a series of exchanges sent a graphic picture exposing himself while wearing a pair of paisley pyjamas?

Rotten to the Core - seems to be the best way to describe what the Conservative Party has become and it makes you think about the kind of 'qualities' both Harvard and Oxford Universities are producing.

Maria Miller is a crook that should have been fired and prosecuted

Maria Miller is a crook that should have been fired and prosecuted for fraud. Instead, she was allowed to resign and walk away with murder. In a country in which poor families and disabled people are being threatened with Bedroom Tax and maimed British soldiers are being denied financial support, high-flyers like Maria Miller are an infestation that needs to be eradicated.

Once again Prime Minister David Cameron has been tested and has failed miserably. How come such a weak and coward man can be leading the Government of the United Kingdom? Didn't the country and Parliament have enough with the so called Expenses Scandal? Didn't Parliament and the Government learn a lesson then? Corruption and most importantly the corruption that is hidden because 'one hand washes the other' have become endemic.

We are sleepwalking towards a major European War

We are sleepwalking towards War and when people least expect they are going to be presented with a Fait Accompli. A good example is the revelation about the Turkish attempt to create a massive conflict in the Middle East using NATO.

The Turkish Plan was extraordinarily simple. Turkey was going to launch an attack against its own people and then accuse Syria of being the aggressor.

We would like to be a fly on the wall to know exactly what the State Department and the Pentagon are planning but what see is Positioning of Forces before an Attack. While for the cameras intense Diplomatic Efforts are being made, in reality the said Diplomatic Efforts are merely Window Dressing.

American Forces and British Forces are already on their way to the Baltics Region and like Adolf Hitler said, and he was absolutely right on this point, 'Armies are made for War'. Nobody mobilizes troops and Air Forces travelling very long distances unless there is already the intention to attack the Russian Federation.

Like Adolf Hitler, the US version of Adolf Hitler has made all the calculations and told its Generals that it is going to be a very quick victory and that US cities will not be bombed. British Drones will be used against the Russian Federation. The British public who is blatantly unaware of the use of British Drones to kill hundreds of civilians is also unaware that they are going to be deployed in the 'Eastern Front'.
