Being a member of the Royal Family can sometimes be a privilege and can sometimes be a liability and this has been shown by the reaction of the Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and of other members of the Royal Family.

Prince Andrew has been condemned and turned into a pariah even before any case against him is dealt with in a court of Law. 

Denonciations by mass media are no evidence whatsoever. Denonciations by mass media are no verdict whatsoever.

Regardless of the lack of a verdict, Prince Andrew has been condemned by his own family and by his own mother that has thrown him to the wolves without there being any trial whatsoever. Why? To protect the Royal Family from scandal. Even military chiefs that are supposed to stand for 'innnocent until proven guilty' have turned to be cowards. The man stands accused of many things, but the man has not been convicted in any court of Law.

So, Madam, you throw your own son to the wolves to save an institution? Let's see what kind of institution your are trying to save. You eldest son before marrying his present wife was an adulterous man that had an affair with another man's wife while being married to Princess Diana. Marrying the adulterous woman does not erase the fact that the relationship started as an adulterous relationship. The mother of two of your grandchildren died or was murdered in a tunnel in France and now every goes on as if nothing had happened while your first born was having an illicit relationship. Interesting of presenting the moral values of the Church of England of which you are the Head.

Maybe some time in the future Prince Andrew will be found guilty of the crimes for which he stands accused but that time has not come yet. As any man he has the right to have his day in court, but the reaction of the Royal Family does not look like cowardice. There is no wonder then that Prince Harry chose to jump overboard and go to America. Like stated at the beginning, every man or woman is innocent until proven guilty, but the Royal Family seems to think otherwise.

Harry and Meghan: How Royal Family advisers are destroying the Royal Family

 

When Diana died, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II did not manage to read the public mood. Driven by tradition, she could not understand the new world that was open right in front of her. She had to be told to come out and grieve with the rest of the nation.

Not in a million years could the Royal Family have imagined or conceived the idea that Harry would end up marrying outside the circle of 'acceptability'. Every gesture, every word, every statement made about fairness and equality and open-ness were now going to be tested to the limit. 

In years past, the Royal Family faced a huge challenge when a King - Edward VIII, Prince of Wales - was told in no uncertain terms that he could not remain as King as long he wanted to marry an American divorcee. Decades later, Prince Charles, first heir to the Throne, married a divorcee after the catastrophic end of his marriage to Princess Diana. Had the trauma of Edward VIII's abdication been avoided, history would have been radically different not just for Britain, but also for Europe and the world as a whole.

To say that the Royal Family has been under close scrutiny is one of the biggest understatements of all times. The Royal Family is not just under scrutiny because of the Charles and Diana saga. The behaviour of Prince Andrew in terms of his personal life and of his commercial dealings involving National Security has not done the Royal Family any favours. The feud created by the way they have dealt with Harry and Meghan has extremely serious connotations. In the USA, the R word has already been mentioned and the question has already been uttered. Are Harry and Meghan being treated as they are being treated because Meghan is mixed race? The whole affair could have critical geopolitical repercussions i.e. the Commonwealth.

All the efforts made to market the Royal Family as modern, openminded, tolerant and well suited for the Britain of the Twenty-First Centurity look and feel now like a complete waste of time. The divide between the Royal Family and the new multicultural and multiracial Britain is growing wider and wider. In the struggle, Harry and Meghan have come to represent David while the Royal Family is unquestionably seen as Goliath.

Royal Advisers have tried to destroy Harry and Meghan. They went after their public image using public humiliation as a tool. There are accusations about bullying and most recently about improper use of the charity status. This will go on and on and at every step a new bit will be chopped away damaging the Royal Family and turning the Royal Family into a figure of hatred and public disgust. William will be made to represent the old and corrupt establishment with its privileges and veils of secrecy while Harry will be the Champion of ordinary people who stood on his two feet againt the tyranny imposed by the Establishment. Of the two brothers, Harry will be Diana's legitimate heir and we know whom public opinion will support.

 

 

Royal biographer: family feud worse than we thought

The Daily Mail publishes today an article in which it is clearly stated that the Royal family feud is 'worse that we thought' and the latest example came on Remembrance Day when Prince Harry's request for a wreath to be laid on his behalf at the Cenotaph was rejected. On the same article it is stated that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth was not informed about the request and therefore it is logical to conclude that somedy else made the decision to reject Prince Harry's request. If the Monarch herself was not informed then Queen Elizabeth II is Monarch only by name. Prince Harry has been classed as expendable.

The time is coming when a new King will be rising to the throne. Who will it be? Charles or William? If the Monarchy is supposed to represent family values, William would be the new King, because Charles got married and continued an adulterous relationship with Camila - a married woman. 

The Royal Family has come to represent many of the things that are wrong in Britain.

We are so focused on Jeremy Corbyn that we have perhaps missed what Margaret Beckett, a veteran Labour MP, wrote for all to see. She advised Labour MPs to reject any deal that Prime Minister Boris Johnson agrees. 

This is what defines Labour: Opposition for opposition sake. Not what benefits the country but what she things would benefit Labour's electoral chances. Not the well-being of Britain but the selfish attitude of profesional politicians who couldn't care less about Britain.

And it is precisely such attitude that really and trully damages her party's electoral chances. The Liberal Democrats have stated and stated over and over again that they want to Remain and they will campaign in a General Election to Remain. The Conservative Party's position is to Leave on October 31, Deal or No Deal.

On top of this there is a group of policians the left either the Labour |Party or the Conservative Party that find themselves in the wildnerness as Independents or as members of meaningless political parties with very limited or non-existing chances of getting back to the House of Commons if a General Election was called.

The SNP has no intention of doing anything that could benefit Britain. Their agenda is the partition of Britain. They have said it over and over again and in spite of having declared itself a non-British political party they continue to act as a hurdle in the House of Commons. So the worst the political crisis, the happier the SNP becomes.

Can we call this Parliament a representative Parliament? Representative of what? Just a few hours ago, the Labour Shadow Foreign Secretary said that the Liberal Democrats were Taliban. Chucka Ummuna, the rising Labour Party star that turned against the Labour Party, has become the most poisonous enemy of his former friends. And what about the rebel Anne Soubry? Well, she cross the Conservative Party and became independent to form a group with former Conservative and Labour MPs only to be betrayed and left in no man's land. Her fortunes changed after Change UK failed miserably in the European Parliament Elections. So once again we pose the question. Representative of what? This is the Parliament in which the Opposition ran away from a General Election proposed by Prime Minister Boris Johnson not once but several times.

My position in this matter is pretty clear and straightforward. We don't have a democratic and representative Parliament. This Parliament has devalued itself to such extent that it is moving away from the Electorate while claiming to be legitimate.

Next week, the Supreme Court will announce its verdict: Was prorogation legal or illegal? It is said that whatever the outcome, Prime Minister Boris Johnson will not recall Parliament and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II finds herself caught up in the middle. She approved prorogation and with this act declared that prorogation is legal. Funny situation to be in if the Supreme Court moves against the Monarch.

But in a country in which nothing is sacred anymore anything could happen. Former Prime Minister David Cameron broke away from tradition and revealed what should have been kept as a secret for all. time. He made revelations about his dealings with the Monarch and in a unusual move the Royal Household publicly announced its displeasure regarding the actions of David Cameron.

The decision of the Supreme Court regarding a very political matter - if it is goes against Prime Minister Boris Johnson's prorogation of Parliametn - could also mean that separation of powers that must exist in any democracy no longer exists and we could enter the worst of all worlds - a corrupt and anti-Democratic Parliament, a compromised Judiciary and an Executive forced to take action against Parliament while ignoring the Supreme Court.

All this could have been avoided if the Opposition had agreed to call a General Election. Instead, a bad situation could become a lot worse.
