Gordon Brown's Coronation as Labour Prime Minister

Gordon Brown's Coronation as Labour Prime Minister

In 1997, Tony Blair became Prime Minister in a landslide General Election winning a record number of seats in the House of Commons. Behind the curtains, there were several agreements that the general public only became aware of when after an illegal military invasion of Iraq his Prime Ministerial position was becoming untenable and there was the need to think about a replacement. It was said that Gordon Brown was his natural successor, but how natural that succession was. Gordon Brown was crowned Prime Minister by the Labour Party and there were no apparent concerns in the Labour supporting mass media. Now, they seem to be very concerned about the leadership election in the Conservative Party, concerns that they didn't have when Gordon Brown was appointed without people outside the Labour Party having a say.

Folks, this is how the political system works in Britain in all political parties. It is up to each political parties to choose or appoint a leader and if the party in question happens to be power then it is natural and part of the rules that the new Leader becomes Prime Minister.

The way it operates is based on the principle that people vote for the political party and that the political party chooses its leader. Full stop.

If Boris Johnson becomes Leader or if Jeremy Hunt becomes Leader then whoever is chosen will be Prime Minister according to the rules.

Falkland Islands: Ready for the taking.

How long will the Falkland Islands be Falkland Islands? The question has been raised and looking at the headlines of the press this morning there is every reason to feel unsettled.

Total garrison: 1,200 troops. Total Air Force: 4 Total Naval Deployment: 1

The news is for those who have not been following developments that with the present military capabilities, the United Kingdom will not be able to repel any invasion and following an invasion will not be able to dislodge any invading forces.

President Cristina Fernandez Wilhelm said that during his presidency the Falkland Islands would be taken by Argentina. There are elections in Argentina this year. In 1982, there was a Conservative government in Britain with Margaret Thatcher at the helm when the Conservatives were basically dismantling the British Armed Forces and mothballing its Naval Forces. Incidentally, there is a Conservative government in Britain with David Cameron at the helm and in the last few years they have been dismantling British Armed Forces.

Disabling airfield facilities in Falkland Islands will be extremely easy and once airfield facilities are disabled the Islands will be there for the taking because Britain no longer has a task force and without plane carriers there cannot be air superiority. You know exactly what this means. It means that the new Argentina jets (a much better version than the French Mirage Argentina had in 1982) will be able to reach Falklands Islands, sink any British ships around, and remain in the skies of Falkland Islands for a lot longer than the French Mirage ever could without refueling.

In a desperate attempt, it was announced today that Britain will be beefing up 'Falkland Islands Defenses'.

In 1982, Argentina was a military dictatorship that was at odds with its Chilean counterpart. For that reasons, Argentina could only send mainly conscripts to Falkland Islands being forced to maintain the vast majority of its Armed Forces in Continental Argentina to protect the military dictatorship and to prevent a Chilean attack. Relations with Chile had been strained because of a territorial dispute about the Beagle.

In 2015, there is no military dictatorship in Argentina, there is no strained relations with Chile and the will to retake Falkland Islands is stronger than ever before in a continent that has a very traumatic rapport not just with UK but also with the US. This means that Argentina could a vast amount of professional troops to Falkland Islands and this having learnt the lessons of 1982.

ISIL is no terrorist organization. It looks and sounds like a professional army

ISIL is far from being a terrorist organization. It looks and sounds like a professional army with Iraqi officers and American armament.

David Cameron, as usual, is acting as an American poodle and telling whatever he is told that he has to say but this could be his greatest miscalculation.

The fact that high caliber people joined ISIL not just a foot soldiers but as high ranking officers tells a completely different story. While AlQaeda was seen merely as an idea, ISIL is the real thing. What ISIL has proven is that it can do what AlQaeda could only dream about.

Britain must brace itself for attacks in the British Homeland. We are dealing with very well organized and very capable individuals, many of whom have inside and very precise knowledge of British weaknesses. Instead of blowing up trains and buses, these people could target nuclear installations and vital communication links in the United Kingdom. Many of them were born in the United Kingdom, have link within the United Kingdom and have first hand knowledge of vital facilities.

When they talk about 'integrating Muslims in the UK', they are talking about allowing in a Trojan Horse with infiltration in every core organization of the United Kingdom, from top to bottom.

Maria Miller is a crook that should have been fired and prosecuted

Maria Miller is a crook that should have been fired and prosecuted for fraud. Instead, she was allowed to resign and walk away with murder. In a country in which poor families and disabled people are being threatened with Bedroom Tax and maimed British soldiers are being denied financial support, high-flyers like Maria Miller are an infestation that needs to be eradicated.

Once again Prime Minister David Cameron has been tested and has failed miserably. How come such a weak and coward man can be leading the Government of the United Kingdom? Didn't the country and Parliament have enough with the so called Expenses Scandal? Didn't Parliament and the Government learn a lesson then? Corruption and most importantly the corruption that is hidden because 'one hand washes the other' have become endemic.

Peter Mandelson - Director of Russian Defense Technology Company

I wonder if the US will put Lord Mandelson on "The List", together with other Russian personalities?

Have you heard Prime Minister David Cameron talk about it? Most probably not. Our Dear Prime Minister, very much in love with Double Standards like the idea of keeping a crook in the Cabinet, would certainly not like to attack a fellow Pro-EU politician like Lord Mandelson.

What happens then when we start talking about sanctions against Russia? Ooops!

From The Daily Telegraph:

Peter Mandelson has refused to defend his links to a Russian defence technology firm.

Lord Mandelson, the former Labour business secretary, faces calls to surrender his directorship at Sistema, a large Russian conglomerate. The post is thought to pay around £200,000 a year plus a share of profits.

Sistema is the majority shareholder in RTI, a defence technology company which produces radars and satellite communications. It has won major Russian state contracts to build a land-based missile early warning system, and provided IT for the Sochi Olympics.

RTI also produced video surveillance equipment for the 2012 presidential elections, which President Putin won amid complaints of fraud.

Lord Mandelson’s work for Sistema continues despite David Cameron putting all British arms exports and military co-operation with Russia under review with a presumption to suspend them, in the wake of the annexation of Crimea.
