Austria: Now it is Freedom Party's turn with about 30% of the vote

 

So called mainstream politicians and political parties keep their heads buried in the sand and plough ahead with policies that ordinary voters reject, to the point of lying to voters to win elections.

One typical example is the talk about migration. People are increasingly fed up with what they call an invasion and when so called maintream politicians don't listen then they vote for political parties like the Freedom Party of Austria.

This is the natural consequence because more and more people no longer trust mainstream political parties that want to continue flooding Europe with migrants and want to fight a European War. Who are the warmongers? A typical example is the Green Party in Germany. The Green Party is bent on engaging Europe in Nuclear War, not that nuclear war will benefit the environment. Anyone who opposes warmongering ends up being called a Fascist or a Traitor.

The Freedom Party stands againt migrantion and the Freedom Party is against War. Therefore, it does not surprise that policians and mass media that have prostituted themselves to promote criminal wars immediately went on the offensive attacking those who are against war.

Teaching children about fairness is the wrong thing to do. The world is about power.

The world is about power. Not fairness.

We have spent generations after generations teaching children about fairness and giving them a very idealitic view of the world that is not real. The world is run by opposites and a status quo is established when all parties know that there is a risk when trying to go beyond that status quo. This is why borders tend to be respected but borders can suddenly change as a consequence of a conflict. If a party is not strong enough to prevent a change of borders then it becomes a conflict leading to a fait accompli and a new status quo is established.

The history of the world is a history of changing boundaries and conflicts. Is there a country that wasn't born because of conflict? Wars of aggression, wars of independence, wars, wars, wars. The United States of America celebrate today the 4th of July and the Declaration of Independence, but even after the 1776 Declaration of Independence fighting went on. So the creation and further expansion of the United States of America happened because of wars. Bloodshed allowed the expansion of the United States of America.

The same can be said of many other countries and this tends to be the rule rather than the exception and it is still happening and will continue to happen.

When you look at the map of the British Empire, after a series of expansions came contraction. Territorial acquisitions overseas were lost and even the borders within the British Isles changed. Until 1920, the United Kingdom comprised also the entirety of the islando of Ireland. Since 1920, as a consequence of a treaty, the Republic of Ireland with its capital Dublin was established and Ulster/Northern Ireland in the north remained as a integral part of the United Kingdom. Should movements towards the independence of Scotland eventually succeed or if suddenly Ulster becomes part of a united Ireland because of the Sinn Fein/Ira electoral successes in Northern Ireland caused by both a sudden change of the mood between communities or simply because of demographics - Catholic families tend to have more children, once again the borders of the United Kingdom will be redrawn. One thing we can take from history is that the presumptions in terms of borders can suddenly change. Yugoslavia is a perfect of example of a country that imploded leading to many different countries. In the case of Yugoslavia, the fact is that Yugoslavia itself was from the beginning like pieces of a puzzle. You can go as far as the Austro-Hungarian Empire that included regions or entire countries in terms of countries that are a reality today. Austria and Italy - throughout the history of Europe have exchanged regions. France and Germany's example - Alsace and Lorena - at one time part of Germany and now part of France. Britany and Normandy - once part of the British Empire are now part of France. And we could mention many other cases not just in Europe but across the world. At one point Bolivia had costal waters and that was the case until a conflict between Peru, Bolivia and Chile left Bolivia isolated and having to pay a fee to have access to the Pacific Ocean.

When it comes to Palestine we have yet another example of changing borders and changing owners. The history of Palestine is a history of conflicts between empires and between countries. When the Ottoman Empire collapsed many countries were born, one of them Iraq that itself comprises three distinctive regions. For a brief period Palestine was in the hands of the British until partition led to the creation of the State of Israel and fighting continued between Palestinians and newcomers from Europe that continued the process of expansion taking land from within Palestine and from neighbouring countries. How long will the status quo last? Presumably as long as the parties involved are strong enough to maintain such status quo and this is not a guarantee for any lasting peace.

Going back to Europe, Poland keeps asking Germany for war reparations in spite of the fact that much of the Germany that was before World War Two and before World War One was taken over by Poland and this include a huge chunk of Easter Germany including Danzig and Memel. Danzig is now known as Gdansk. The birthplace of Immanuel Kant, Konisberg is now Kaliningrag in what used to be Eastern Prussia. 

We don't know the outcome of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine - another country that was made up with bit and pieces taken from other countries including Poland, Hungary and Russia. In fact, the present conflict is very much the consequence of the way Ukraine was made with Western Ukraine in direct conflict with Eastern Ukraine - one predominantly Polish and Hungarian and the other predominantly Russian. The conflict is a mix of geopolitical divisions and ethnic divisions.

Borders can change and borders will change. So we can expect that there will be conflict along the way and further bloodshed can be guaranteed. Whether China decides to recover what is know today as Taiwan remains to be seen but there is certainly the prospect of yet another conflict as the multipolar world replaces the bipolar world created by World War Two.

Ukraine: promises sound good, but are they good?

Sitting in an office with the television set by my side watching the news, I suddenly was focused on a report coming from New York, USA, about the Twin Towers and airplanes crashing onto the sides of the towers and couldn't possibly imagine that just a few weeks later war was to arrive in Afghanistan, country that was to be subject to carpet bombing. The smoking mountains were on television screens across the world. Just about two years later came yet another disastrous event that was the invasion of Iraq that completely destabilized the Middle East causing wave after wave of refugees. There was Libya, Syria and so forth afterwards.

The present war in Ukraine has been going on for more than a year and there is every indication that it could go on and on, threatening to engulf Europe as a whole. I do remember the war in Yugoslavia, war that ended up with the end of Yugoslavia and that in more than one way led to expansion of NATO that created the present war in Ukraine.

Long before the present war, Ukraine was in trouble, unable to make ends meet, with internal upheaval and ethnic tensions. Western Ukraine did not love Eastern Ukraine very much and World War Two is ample evidence of it when one side of Ukraine supported National Socialist Germany and was very much involved in what we know as the Holocaust and Eastern Ukraine sided with the Allies. Paradoxically, history repeats itself following what happened in Yugoslavia. Croatia and Bosnia Herzegobina were on the side of National Socialist Germany. Heinrich Himmler used to boast about the fact that Muslims from Bosnia Herzegobina joined the SS and were 'good fighters'. It did not come as a surprise the fact that Germany was the first country to recognize an independent Croatia because, after all, Croatia was on the German side during World War Two.

What happens today in the Baltic Republics is no surprise either. SS officers remarked the cruelty of Lithuanians against Jews. They described the scenes of an execution carried out by Lithuanians against Jews. The Lithuanians killed Jewish men, women and children and after the execution they danced on top of the corpses playing accordions and singing.

One conflict after another seems to be waged against people who fought against National Socialist Germany. Yugoslavia was dismantled and all the focus was against Serbia that in two World Wars fought against Germany and Austria. Now the focus is against Eastern Ukraine and against the Russian Federation that as part of the then Soviet Union lost tens of millions of people fighting against National Socialist Germany.

But, going back to the title, how good are the promises and what is the real agenda? The real agenda is to weaken Europe and the USA is using the conflict in Ukraine to weaken Europe and threatening to destabilize Europe with the willing cooperation of European governments that seem all to eager to please warmongering lobbies with complete disregard for their own peoples. In their efforts, adulating politicians are getting rid of outdated equipment that even when it is outdated it will be difficult to replace. Denmark, Netherlands, Norway and others are not known for being military powers and even Germany that was kept under American domination is no military power at all. Warplanes are foreign made and bought from the shelf since Germany was not allowed to develop its war industries. The only pieces of equipment worth mentioning are the Leopard tanks and even so they have proven to be pretty useless in real combat.

Promises here and there and big speeches including speeches made by Ursula von der Leyen, the disastrous former German Defense Secretary and present head of the European Commission can only make a bad situation worse. Present German Chancellor Olaf Scholz talks both ways, sending equipment while expressing fears regarding the involvement of Germany in yet another war.

To say that Ursula von der Leyen was incompetent as German Defense Secretary and has been incompetent as appointed President of the European Commission would be a gross understatement.

She started by making a mess in Northern Ireland and in the Republic of Ireland by going against established EU policies and later backtracking when she was bombarded with criticisms, including criticisms expressed by the German mass media. Shge managed to unite Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland against her.

With regards to the fight against Covid-19, she hasn't been on top of her brief and has stood paralized while EU countries stopped acting as EU countries and went against each other. Austria is leading a group of six EU countries that want to have access to Russian vaccines and Germany has now joined them while France and others remain stuck with rising number of infections, hospitals that cannot cope with the number of cases and rising deaths leading to further quarentine measures.

The latest chapter was the embarrassment during a meeting in Turkey. She allowed herself to be sidelines and later complained saying that she had been sidelined. She doesn't have the guts to act on the spot. Is she really the President of the European Commission? If she is the President of the European Commission she should start acting as the President of the European Commission. If she doesn't have what it takes to be the boss, she should put herself aside and allow somebody else to be the boss.

The office of President of the European Commission is being downgraded, the EU project is being downgraded, and her former boss Angela Merkel is doing no better. Hesitation, gigantic errors of judgment, followed by meaningless apologies that give way to more hesitation, more gigantic errors of judgment, followed by more meaningless apologies. Angela Merkel no longer has what it takes to be leader and voters are turning against CDU/CSU across Germany, election after election. Time for change, but what will replace them? The very authority of the German Chancellor as now former party leader - she had to resign the leadership of CDU to remain in power until the next German Federal Election - is being challenged by members of her own party. She had to come out and threaten members of her own party that were found working with Alternative fur Deutschland in several regions.

To sum up, a mess in Germany and a mess in the European Union.

A quick look at what is happening in the main EU countries is more than enough to understand that the EU is in no position to negotiate anything. If anything, the EU has to devote all its energies to prevent a meltdown that would lead to the extinction of the EU.

In France, President Macron doesn't seem to be getting things done. It looks like a growing crisis that threaten the very foundation of democracy in France. Showering French citizens with tear gas and water cannons, and engaged in unwarranted acts of violence, Police forces that follow President Macron's orders are turning France into a battlefield. 

In Germany, the sheer idea of having to go cap in hand to ask German taxpayers for more money to subsidise failing economies is a sobering thought for ailing Angela Merkel that knows that she is being watched from inside and from outside the CDU/CSU. She is no longer leader of the ruling coalition very much like Theresa May is no longer leader of the Conservative Party and is very much yesterday's Chancellor.

Events in Austria, Poland, Hungary, Italy and elsewhere are not reassuring either. In Spain, recently elected Members of the European Parliament are not being allowed to join the European Parliament because of the struggle for independence in Catalonia. 

Contenders in the leadership election in the Conservative Party or those in opposition can talk about a deal but it is a deal that no longer exists. It was killed by Parliament and led to the downfall of Theresa May. Most of the world deals with WTO terms and has been doing so for a very long time. The issue is the survival of a protectionist club called European Union (before European Community, earlier Common Market) that almost single-handed led to a debacle across the Developing World when over-production and subsidies caused a dramatic fall of agricultural prices and the creation of massive foreign debt in countries that very much depend on agriculture to make ends meet.

Delivering Brexit is a sine qua non for the Conservative Party. They know that they either deliver Brexit or are replaced by the Brexit Party under a Marxist Prime Minister. This has enormous implications for Britain and for international equilibrium. Whatever is left of the |Special Relationship could come to an end. This is not just the crisis regarding Huawei. This is Huawei and everything else including Britain's membership of NATO.

Britain should seek to preserve the Conservative government by getting Brexit done as a way to prevent a major geopolitical catastrophe.

Austria bans Muslim headscarf in primary schools

Austria has passed a law intended to ban Muslim girls from wearing a headscarf in primary schools. The Jewish yarmulke and Sikh patka are not included in the new measure.

Austria's parliament has passed a law intended to ban Muslim girls from wearing the headscarf in primary schools, a measure that is likely to be challenged as discriminatory in the constitutional court.

The bill passed with the support of the governing center-right People's Party (ÖVP) and the far-right Freedom Party (FPÖ). Almost all of the opposition voted against it. To avoid the impression that it targets Muslims, the text refers to any "ideologically or religiously influenced clothing which is associated with the covering of the head."

The government said late Wednesday that the patka head covering worn by Sikh boys or the Jewish yarmulke would not be affected because the law refers to head garments that "cover all of the hair or large parts of it." Exceptions are made for head coverings for medical reasons or protection against rain or snow.

Practicing Muslim girls usually begin wearing a headscarf at puberty, and the governing parties have admitted the law is intended for Muslim girls.

ÖVP lawmaker Rudolf Taschner said the law was meant to "free girls from submission," while FPÖ education spokesman Wendelin Mölzer said it was about sending a signal "against political Islam" and promoting integration. 

Former Social Democrat Party education minister, Sonja Hammerschmid, accused the government of trying to make headlines instead of resolving integration or education issues.

Austria's official Muslim community organization, IGGÖ, has said it would legally challenge the "destructive" law that "discriminates exclusively against Muslims."

The ÖVP and FPÖ formed a coalition in 2017 on a strong anti-immigration platform. The law was passed as Muslims celebrate the holy month of Ramadan.

On the said article there are two positions: 1) getting rid of headscarves would facilitate integration. 2)getting rid of headscarves doesn't help integration. Whichever position you agree with the fact remains that the way we dress has an impact in terms of how we interact with others. It has to do with differentiation. Here is the question: Do we feel prone to interact more with those we see as being like us or do we tend not to interact with those that look alien? 

Having gone through centuries of conflict based on religious beliefs, going around using garments as a statement of religious affiliation is not the best anyone can do if he or she intends to be seen as 'one of us'.  There is a historical example of how differentiation was used for political purposes. In the 1930s and 1940s, Jews were forced to have the symbol of the Star of David attached to their clothing so that they could be easily identified as Jews for the purposes of discrimination and persecution.

After the statement made by French President Macron came the words of German Chancellor Angela Merkel about 'true, real, EU Armed Forces'. What role will NATO play then? President Trump has been demanding and rightly so that all NATO countries pay their fair share in terms of defence expenditure. Now, a country like Germany that pays a lot less than 2% and is regularly suffering shortages managing very badly its own Armed Forces under Chancellor Merkel talking about 'true, real, EU Armed Forces'? Where is the funding going to come from without increasing German expenditure in Defence? And what about the smaller countries, smaller in numbers and smaller in terms of financial resources, how are they going to pay for those 'true, real, EU Armed Forces'?

When you look at the numbers in terms of demographics and resources you will realise that the said 'true, real, EU Armed Forces' are going to run by Germany and France with smaller contributions from other EU countries. With less investment will come less power and this will mean a de-facto concentration of military power in German and French hands with the rest of EU 'doing as they are told'. With economic power and military might, comes total control in Berlin and in Paris. Those under their rule will become not partners on an equal basis but merely colonies, occupied territories.

If any EU country apart from German and France disagree or reject the orders imparted from the centre, will these 'EU Armed Forces' be used to repress national dissent? The EU is travelling along a very dangerous path. The Continent is facing extraordinary challenges. We can extrapolate what happened during the partition of Yugoslavia to see what could happen in Europe as a whole. If Austria, Hungary, Poland, Italy and others refuse to accept immigration policies - for example, will the said countries be forced to accept what they reject not just via EU legal challenges or will military might be used to suppress any resistance?

The way to Hell is paved with good intentions. There is the intention and there is reality. Should such EU Armed Forces be created, who will control them? What mechanisms will be there to protect national interests? In peacetime, EU mandarins are striving to over-rule national resistance. When certain mechanisms are in place, resistance will be futile. Smaller countries will be de-facto colonies.

Theresa May: Moment of Truth

The Moment of Truth is fast approaching, the time when there can be no more wriggling, no more justifications, no more excuses, no more procrastination. It is the time when the Conservative Party will look at the abyss and see Doom on the face. There is no secret about divisions in the Conservative Party. The cards are on the table. Any deal that means for UK to remain attached to the structures of the EU means dependency and would go against what was decided by the British Electorate. The issue is not only if Theresa May will survive as Prime Minister. The issue is if the Conservative Party will survive.

This happens at a time when the Leadership of the Labour Party that has a proven record of treason against the United Kingdom because its association and support for Irish Terrorists stands accused of Anti-Semitism. 

For those who are ideologically favourable to membership of the EU, the rise of what they call Populism and others calls Patriotism is not best kind of kind of news that they could receive. Germany and France are on their way to have real governance. Austria, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Italy and Sweden have very much recognised the importance of strong National Identity and Hungary amongst them know that Islam is poisonous and a real liability or - to sum up - the Enemy Within that must be neutralised.

With the Rise of Nationalism across Continental Europe, will the so called Remainers still want to remain part of the club?

Jewish Communities across Europe are under threat. They know that the clock is ticking. When a Jewish authority in Germany asked Jewish people not to wear anything that could identify them as Jews he knew exactly what he was talking about. The streets are not safe for Jews. I believe that compared to today's Europe the Europe of the 1930s and 1940s was a safe place.

In the 1930s and 1940s they knew where the danger was.Today, there is danger everywhere. Their sworn enemies have been brought to Europe by the priests of Political Correctness that oblivious to the danger of allowing in thousands upon thousands of Muslims with a Mohammedan agenda opened the floodgates to death. Look at what happens in the Middle East. Look at what happens in Pakistan of all places and you will know what will happen in Europe when they are numerous enough to take over.

There is a deadly cocktail, a ticking bomb. With political divisions and the ongoing Islamic Invasion, we must prepare ourselves to deal with catastrophic social and political events. The speed of change is accelerating.

Several countries have already announced that they will not sign up the so called UN Migration Pact because it effectively opens the door to ethnic cleansing. The Organisation that was created in 1945 at the end of World War Two to promote peace has become a means to get rid of national identities, an agenda that could have disastrous consequences and lead to another World War.

The Pact has now been re-badged as the Global Compact for Migration (GCM), and is the latest stage in the creation of a global framework of both binding, and ‘advisory’ supra-national agreements and structures relating to mass migration. The effect of that inter-locking framework is to create and embed formal mechanisms that will result in the Great Replacement of Europeans in their homelands. The GCM builds on the Marrakesh Agreement May 2018, and The Barcelona Declaration 1995, and is the latest in a continuing programme of global governance policy formation designed to prevent democratic control over borders and nations. An outline of the GCM, and the earlier Marrakesh Agreement, and the Barcelona Declaration can be found in our last two GISG Newsletters, to which the reader is referred.   Recent developments Over the last few weeks there have been developments in relation to the GCM that we report on here. The UN itself has begun a propaganda programme to support the upcoming December summit, although, so far, it has been a limited offensive. Unsurprisingly, very little, if anything, has appeared in the mainstream media about the GCM, neither have mainstream politicians made any commentary (at least, not in the UK). However, the Identitarian Movement in Europe has begun to raise awareness, and some patriotic politicians have begun to talk about the threat posed by the GCM. UN Propagana  A month ago, the UN released a short propaganda film, ‘What is the Global compact for migration?’ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LL87BK5OSz8&index=2&list=PLwoDFQJEq_0Y-lZxNM6nFXWteTM4oUjM9 Featuring smiling women and children throughout, the UN propaganda presents mass migration as an unalloyed good. Dealing in absolutes, the film states that ‘migration is an engine of growth and entrepreneurship’, and that migrants sent ‘$450 billion to developing countries in 2017’, while spending ’85% of their earnings in their host countries’. No opposing arguments or statistics are presented. The film does, however, make clear that the GCM is ‘the first ever agreement to cover all aspects of international migration’. In this, it is correct, as all aspects, both direct and indirect are covered. It will embed standards that all signatories will be expected to adhere to, and those standards will cover not only the facilitation of mass migration into Europe and the West, but will also require governments to present strongly positive narratives surrounding migration, while taking steps to prevent, and punish, opposition to mass migration and the Great Replacement. Although the UN film has been in circulation for a month, it has had no wider coverage. On YouTube, there have only been 6,464 views. Interestingly, it has received over 1,000 ‘dislikes’ and only 36 ‘likes’. Further, of the 258 comments, the overwhelming majority are hostile to the GCM and the UN. What is interesting is that, in keeping with the run-up to the signing in December, this small, unheralded video, represents the UN’s main information on the GCM to the public. Similarly, in the UK, only one article has appeared in any mainstream media outlet, either print or broadcast, about the GCM. That article was a highly supportive one in The Guardian. Alerting the people to the threat Although the mainstream media and politicians have failed to alert the public to the GCM and its clear dangers, others have begun to highlight the threat. The Austrian Identitarian Movement (IBO) has led the way, with its co-leader, Martin Sellner, producing seven German-language videos about the GCM. In addition, the IBO have established an important campaign website against the GCM, which is full of detail about the pact and its implications: https://migrationspakt-stoppen.info The IBO has also called for all patriots to rally outside the UN building in Vienna on Sunday, 4 November: https://www.facebook.com/events/334541660439265/ , which is also covered in this news article: https://www.tagesstimme.com/2018/10/19/wien-demo-un-migrationspakt-november/ The IBO has created a Twitter feed about the GCM and the campaign against it: https://twitter.com/migrationspakt This activity has raised the profile of the issue in Austria, and, to some extent in Germany, and there is some suggestion that Austria might follow the lead of Hungary and the United States and refuse to sign the pact (https://www.reuters.com/article/us-un-migrants-austria/austria-has-concerns-about-u-n-migration-pact-might-back-out-idUSKCN1MK2EJ ). This is highly unlikely to happen in Germany, although Alternative for Germany (AfD) politicians are protesting against the GCM. In the United Kingdom, the only politician that has raised the GCM is the leader of UKIP, Gerard Batten, MEP. In a tweet of 17 October, Batten commented: ‘UN Global Compact For Safe, Orderly & Regular Migration. Euro Parl will vote on this at the end of 2018. It seeks to make illegal immigration legal, make it easier, and criminalise opposition under ‘racism & xenophobia’ laws. If they succeed then millions more will come.’ By the time the European ‘Parliament’ votes on it, the GCM will be a done deal – as usual, the European ‘Parliament’ simply acts as a dictatorship’s rubber stamp. At the moment, Gerard Batten is the only elected politician to have identified the threat. GENERATION IDENTITY UK & IRELAND are taking steps to alert people to the GCM. Resisting the policy   Once formally signed in December, 2018, the UN Migration Pact will be used as yet another tool to silence opposition and dissent, and to attack governments who respond to the wishes of their peoples in respect of the migrant-invasion. The UN deliberations and agreements, like those of Barcelona in 1995 and Marrakesh in May 2018, received little mainstream media coverage, and the forthcoming signing even less.
