The War of Words is what comes before the Physical War

People must understand that the War of Words is what comes before the Physical War, when bombs fly and people die. Any war is a financial affair. In fact, there is always a financial reason for wars to happen.

At this point in time there are economic rivals fighting to prevail and this is accelerating to the point when there will be a point of no return. We know how wars begin, but we cannot foresee how wars will end. This sort of wars have happened in the past. The Mighty Roman Empire saw the sacking of Rome by invaders. So the success of the so called West is by no means guaranteed.

Going into the not so remote past, we must remember the history of Europe. There was a time when the Moors (Arabic Invaders) and the Turks took over entire regions of Europe by force and kept them under their rule for hundreds of years. The naive belief that demographic changes will occur without consequences is dangerous. Peaceful colonisation will suddenly turn into a more violent expression of colonisation as foreign populations grow in numbers inside the so called West.

Terror Legislation: Security or an excuse for political persecution?

Terror Legislation: Security or an excuse for political persecution?

Habeas Corpus and the Presumption of Innocence are vital pillars for freedom in a democratic society. Legislation introduced by Jacqui Smith as Home Secretary of a Labour government introduced legislation that got rid of Habeas Corpus and the Presumption of Innocence. Detention for indefinite periods without the assistance of legal counsel has now been legalised.

As if this wasn't enough, Police offers were authorized to request access to pins and passwords of all electonic devices. Failure to provide the information requested now leads to arrest and finally to charges for Terrorism. How has this happened? Somebody who has no involvement whatsoever in any kind of terror activity can find himself or herself in the dock and finally end up in jail having committed no crime whatsoever.

Paul Golding, leader of Britain First, finds himself accused under anti-terrorism legislation because he refused to provide access to his electronic devices when he was detained at the Heathrow Airport having returned from Moscow where he participated in a series of meetings with political representatives.

Using anti-terror legislation in political persecution is the way to Hell on Earth.

War on Terror or War on Islam? This is the question.

The fundamental question is very real. War on Terror or War on Islam? And it is a question asked from all sides of the divide, by both Muslims and non-Muslims.

There is a struggle not just in terms of countering the threat of terrorism but also in terms of dealing with social and cultural issues that have a political nature and are undermining our way way of life and putting lives in danger.

The fact that we are having to invest a significant amount of resources keeping in British jails many Muslims involved in terrorism and the fact that we have to spend so much money, time and brainpower to keep terrorism at bay, when we don't have enough resources to invest in other areas that constitute the essence of normal life, indicate that we are at War and that the enemies are Muslim.

We are arming ourselves to the teeth for the event of foreign wars and we are fighting a homeland war that is step by step eroding our civil rights and our freedoms. The conflict is very real and political correctness is a deadly disadvantage because it weakens us and makes us vulnerable.

During World War Two there was something called Internment Camps, where presumed enemies of Britain were detained even when they had done nothing YET. The word YET is very important. There is no such a thing as a peaceful enemy. If somebody is a potential threat, he or she is a threat.

The fact that members of Muslim Communities haven't done anything yet is not a guarantee that they will not get involved in terrorism or support terrorism in the near future. There are areas of high concentration of dangerous elements that have been arrested or are at present being tracked down.

We must put Political Correctness aside and go for the jugular to make sure that no more lives are lost unnecessarily.

Muslim terror attacks continue unabated but we shouldn't allow ourselves to become Extremists

Islamic or Muslim is just a game of words. The fact remains that individuals clearly identified with the Muslim faith have killed more than 120 people in Paris in a coordinated series of premeditated attacks with clear intent to destroy lives.

This is the image of Mohammed that ISIS is promoting across the world despite the fact that the vast majority of Muslims across the world would never get involved in acts of violence like the ones perpetrated in Paris just a few days ago.

Of course, trying to depict every single Muslim as a terrorist is both unfair and irrational. Unfortunately, this is what ISIS is promoting. ISIS is openly attempting to create divisions by turning people who have lived peacefully against each other.

It is fundamentally important to counter Extremists but it must be done in a such a way that the solutions implemented do not end up alienating more and more people. The images of Paris must not be used to make people forget about the miseries millions of people are facing across the Middle East, Asia Minor and Africa where oppression, corruption, extreme poverty and extremely unwise Western policies have generated a living nightmare.

Just a few months ago, the actions of a few led to the death of thousands in Gaza. More than 10,000 Palestinian men, women and children injured, more than 2,000 Palestinian men, women and children killed and more than 97,000 homes were destroyed.

Across the World, it must be remembered that Muslims that are not involved in acts of violence themselves are being murdered in campaigns of retaliation and that millions are being forced to survive in inhumane conditions and their suffering is being blatantly ignored.

Sadiq Khan MP, the Labour Party Mayoral Candidate, asked Muslim communities in the United Kingdom to do more to tackle radicals.

Sadiq Khan called today on his fellow Muslims 'not to bury our heads in the sand' over the scale of extremism in the United Kingdom and to do more to root out radicalisation.

Of course the actions of Muslim communities in the United Kingdom are an essential factor to tackle Extremists but let's not forget the direct consequences of extremely bad Western Foreign Policies that have contributed to the destabilization of entire regions of the world.
