1945/2023: different times, same justification

After the bloody battles in the Pacific, President Truman took a momentous decision to prevent a huge number of American casualties during the assault on the Japanese mainland. Hiroshima and Nagasaki. President Truman took care of American interests. Today, Secretary Blinken says that the Russian Federation will use nuclear weapons to put an end to the conflict in Ukraine. Well, the Russian Federation will follow the American example do what is best for Russian interests.

After Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan recovered and went on to become one of the great nations of the Developed World. The war in Afghanistan lasted twenty years. The longest war of the century until now. The conflict in Ukraine has lasted more than a year and the Russian Federation might decide that enough is enough and do what USA did in 1945.

This a real possibility and all those seeking to prolong the conflict by supporting one of the sides in the conflict must take this into consideration. If nuclear devices are detonated in Ukraine, bordering countries will the first to be affected. The power of modern nuclear devices is vastly superior and therefore the level of destruction will be much greater and, as the world revolves, air and water will be contaminated. Those who remember the effects of Chernobyl should think about what is coming their way.

At this point, all warmongering attitudes and provision of armament should come to a halt. The likes of Warsaw that suffered under the German assault of 1939 with conventional weapons should take into account the destruction caused by an invisible enemy called nuclear radiation. The consequences of destruction caused by conventional weapons can be dealt with in the short term. The consequences of radiation pollution will last for many years to come rendering entire areas totally uninhabitable. Although Japan ultimately recovered, the legacy was thousands of lives affected for many generations to come. Cancer, birth defects and the like.

If Secretary Blinken is really and trully concerned and if he believes that the use of nuclear weapons is a certain possibility, he should advice President Biden that a strategy change is needed. The more fuel is added to the fire the closer we get to a nuclear reality.

War in Europe: Wann wird man je verstehen?

War in Europe: Wann wird man je verstehen?

Listening to politicians, to the mass media and even to the present Head of Nato, one would believe that what happened in Europe 70 or so years ago never happened.

As the build up for yet another European-wide war continues, we see that the memories of World War Two are been flashed away to encourage the new generations to get involved in yet another war - and perhaps the final war for millennia to come as it is more than likely that nuclear weapons will be used to erase every single European capital. Talking about the merits of Democracy, what is happening right now speaks volumes against Democracy. Democracy is a political form of governance that gives a blank cheque to politicians to erase Humanity from planet Earth.

Politicians do not represent us and they simply use the powers given to them to do as they please and lead us towards Armageddon. Strikes happening right now in Britain, the state of upheaval in Britain, was created by catastrophic geopolitical decisions that led to economic instability that mixed with an arms race will not only cause instability, but will also push us towards extinction.

Those who remember what happened after Chernobyl - it was merely an accident that affected reactors at an energy plant - know full well what will happen if a Nuclear Holocaust is triggered intentionally. The entire continent will be uninhabitable for ages to come. Our way of life will be gone forever. Thousands of years of social and technological evolution will be wiped out. Whoever manages to survive will have to live in a human jungle without any rules. It will be about killing or being killed in a state of widespread lethal anarchy. This is Mad Max World.

We must prepare for a new world in which the weak will be naturally exterminated and natural selection will determine who lives and who dies, a world without mercy. In this new world, Charles Darwin's evolution rules will be more apparent than ever before. In a lawless world, only the strong and the most brutal will have the slightest chance to live another day.

This was Germany by the end of World War Two. This might be Europe by the end of World War Three.

Stoltenberg: Proving over and over again that NATO never was a defensive organisation

Jen Stoltenberg proves over and over again that NATO is not a defensive organisation and any statements of such nature amount to mobilisation. In spite of what was said some years ago by Sergei Ivanov about any wars in Europe being fought with conventional forces, the Russian Federation will be forced to launch a preemptive nuclear attack if a massive number of troops were to be deployed in the European theatre.

In war, miscalculations happen and miscalculations by politicians who have little or no acumen in terms of military confrontations are extremely dangerous.

The fact that Lithuania has de facto created a Polish Corridor is a reason to be extremely concerned. Like it happened before - WWI  being an example of a chain reaction after events in Sarajevo - a chain reaction would follow any mobilisation. Jen Stoltenberg should already know that, if NATO is ready to deploy 300,000 troops, sooner than later conscription will have to be implemented to deal with what will follow. In fact, mobilisation itself will be a declaration of war and this will be a lot more than sending weapons to a threatre of war. Germany has promised weapons that it has never delivered. Actual conscription is a completely different matter. Politicians like Olaf Scholz, like Emmanuel Macron and others can visit Ukraine as many times as they wish or organise meetings in Berlin as many times as they wish. Selling a war to the German people or to the French people is a completely different cup of tea.

If somebody were to tell you that the town in which you live is going to be wiped out with a nuclear attack right at the beginning of such a war, would you want to go to war? Angela Merkel terrified many Germans with the possibility of a nuclear accident like the accident at Fukushima. Ordinary people heard about another nuclear accident at Chernobyl. They have have a pretty good idea of what could happen.

Politicians like Jen Stoltenberg and others should have the decency of telling ordinary people about the real consequences of any large scale military confrontation. I suspect that until now politicians keep talking about 'supplying weapons' to avoid telling people that there is the real prospect of a catastrophic war in Europe. The moment they start talking about troops mobilisation is the moment when decisions have already been made to go to war and there will be a point of no return.
