In times of confusion, what is the Far Right?

In Britain, without a single organisation that could claim to represent a sizeable number of followers, what is the Far Right? What does the so called Far Right stand for?

In days of plenty, when organisations like the British National Party stood tall and was represented in the European Parliament, in the London Assembly and in quite a few other others places across the United Kingdom, with a very well known leader, you could say that you had an approximate idea of what at least one particular oganisation stood for. There were Manifestoes, Party Conferences, and very public statements. 

The waters have been muddled intentionally by the mass media and what we loosely know as the political establishment. Now, Tommy Robinson is defined as Far Right and so is Paul Golding of Britain First. Anne Marie Waters of For Britain is defined as Far Right. Jayda Fransen is classified as Far Right. Even non political individuals like Alison Chabloz and many others are classed as Far Right. Confused? You should be confused because many of those classed as Far Right seem to have very different platforms. So Far Right has become a one label that fits all kinds of different ideological stances.

Fragmentation has been superseded by individualities. Somebody writes comments on social media, class himself or herself as being this or that, without any real political substance nor structure, and says that he or she represents political organisations that in most cases only exist on paper or in their febrile minds.

Such is the state of what used to be known as British Nationalism that there isn't a single organisation with enough political clout to be able to justifiably claim that it trully represents British Nationalism.

Brexit: European Elections will certainly benefit so called Far Right that is not Extreme but Common Sense.

Nationalism across Europe prepares itself to win seat in the European Parliament and now, according to Hilary Benn MP (Labour Party) he is very much in favour of European Parliament Elections in Britain that will benefit Brexit First, UKIP, For Britain, and others.

If there is an extension of Article 50 that goes beyond May 22nd 2019, there will be European Elections in Britain and this is something the European Union is also pondering about. The EU is heading towards Nationalism and Populism, a political state of affairs that paradoxically seems to be rejected by those in Britain that want Britain to stay in the European Union.

The expression 'turkeys voting for Christmas' perfectly represents what some in Opposition want to happen at a time when Britain is in a state of flux. A very dangerous time indeed.

The hackers posted threats to human life. I hope that they are caught and punished. What the said hackers couldn't possibly foresee is that their attacks can only increase support for movements like Britain First.

Harassment, Bigotry and Racism are neither Nationalism nor Patriotism

Harassment is neither Nationalism nor Patriotism

For those who claim to stand for British Values and British Interests the message is very clear: bigotry, harassment and racist behaviour has nothing to do with British Values and British Interests.

Moreover, the claims of Nationalist political parties is that they want a Europe of Independent Nations working together in peace and harmony. Therefore, harassing and insulting European Nationals is a contradiction in terms with the aims of Nationalist political parties.

But most importantly, bigotry, harassment and racist behaviour are forms of criminal behaviour that shouldn't be tolerated anywhere and those involved in criminal behaviour should be countered and be made accountable for their acts. The UK Referendum on EU Membership was a legitimate and democratic exercise but it is not a licence to engage in criminal acts and Parliament must now implement the decision made by the British Electorate.

In the meantime, those EU citizens affected by the outcome of the UK Referendum on EU Membership must be told that they have rights. In fact, according to present UK legislation all EU Citizens are entitled to claim UK Residence Rights after five years of living and working the United Kingdom. Their rights are protected by UK Immigration Laws.

We must all live in an environment in which mutual respect is the rule. There will always be anti-social individuals that will use any opportunity to engage in anti-social behaviour. They must be countered, they must be arrested and made accountable.

In its present format British Nationalism is finished

It its present format, British Nationalism is finished, over, going only downwards.

A movement in which people spend most of their time and energy attacking each other on social media does not have the slightest chance of electoral success.

Every group, every single organization, promises Paradise and solutions that they will never be able to implement because they simply do not have the numbers.

Without political representation in the House of Commons or in any of the regional assemblies, and without no significant representation in local and regional authorities, British Nationalism is dead.

British Nationalists not even have the numbers to organize effective rallies and demonstrations and the headlines that they manage to produce simply demonstrate that they have no political power and no social power.

Real British Nationalists don't downgrade British Nationalism

The vile and poison spread across Internet Forums are reminders of why British Nationalism is in the doldrums.

When ego is worth more than the aims of British Nationalism, when the tit for tat attacks matter more than the objectives Nationalism is trying to achieve, you instinctively know that there can be no victory.

In another time and another age, those who turn against the cause would have been shot or hanged. But we are the Twenty-First Century and honour and loyalty are in short supply as scarce also is the art of using our brains to discern and to tell the difference between rumours and facts. The principle of innocent until proven guilty does not seem to matter anymore and reputations are destroyed without any regard for truth nor evidence.

Message for Nationalists: Get together or Die.

Douglas Carswell, first UKIP MP in Clacton. The message for Nationalists in the United Kingdom is: find the way to get together and fight for a common cause or condemn yourselves to oblivion.

Marches and demonstrations are alright provided you get together, get organized, fight elections and win elections.

The tit for tat actions, spreading hatred against each other in Facebook and in other fora is fine if you want to be losers forever. People see you as losers and stop paying attention to you or listening to what you have to say. Rumours, accusations and innuendo make you a laughing stock, something to be derided. Some people stop hating Nationalists. They laugh at Nationalists and some even start feeling pity for anybody who describe himself or herself as a Nationalist because they see him or her as a mental case.

The infighting has been going on for ages and it has to stop. So called leaders must understand that they are leaders of nothing if they do not have a credible political presence.

British Nationalism R.I.P.

I don't think that many rational individuals would disagree if I say that British Nationalism is making itself redundant.

Infighting, personal and ideological grievances, lack of understanding and lack of awareness of what is there to be achieved and how have turned what used to be a golden promise into an ongoing nightmare.

Firstly, it was fragmented. Now, the fragments themselves have become fragmented.

Looking as an external observer would do, I would say that there is not a single name, a single personality, that can unite British Nationalism to make it, once again, a valid electoral option. In order to change anything, you have to get people elected with enough support to provide real options.

The battle is raging and the British Nationalism is caught totally unprepared, totally divided and unable to stand on its own two feet to do anything about anything.

The issue of being a Civic Nationalist or a Racial Nationalist is now totally irrelevant because whatever strand of British Nationalism you look at they are all irrelevant by simple mathematics.

There are tens of thousands of Councillors across the land. How many of them are Nationalists? How many seats in Regional and Local Authorities? How many seats in the Houses of Parliament? And now, how many seats in the European Parliament or at the London Assembly?

I could be an idealist till the end of times but I am also a pragmatist and know that the present state of affairs is not conducive to political success.

British Nationalism or what is left of it

British Nationalism is in crisis, split into several groupings, due to reaction, over-reaction, misunderstandings and personality feuds.

At a time when continental Nationalist movements are at peak levels, British Nationalism is in crisis and losing spaces.

Within what used to be the National Front there are at least two National Fronts. There is a British National Party, a Britain First, English Democrats, British Democratic Party and several sub-groups within the main groups headed by minor leaders or personalities at odds with each other and hating each other a lot more than they despise their ideological opponents.

Various groups have at one point or another conspired against others by cooperating with their arch-enemies as a way to erode support for those they see as rivals within British Nationalism.

The direct consequence is unavoidable electoral failures that has left British Nationalism literally out of the picture in terms of elected representatives. Standing against each other, launching bitter attacks against each other both in public and in private, they have played right in to the hands of their ideological foes.

British National has defeated itself from within and its weakness has benefited so called mainstream political parties and, most importantly, has benefited UKIP (United Kingdom Independence Party).

In places like South London, Nationalism fragmentation got the Labour Party elected in places like Croydon helping the Labour Party triumph against the Conservative Party.

How long will this process of fragmentation last? It is hard to say. Less than a year before the next General Election, British Nationalism is in tatters Factional interests seems to be more of a priority than shared values and shared aims.
