Mirror Editors Sacked

Daily Mirror and Sunday Mirror = Mirror

Richard Wallace of the Daily Mirror and Tina Weaver of the Sunday Mirror were given their marching orders. It would be interesting to see where they end up after losing their very prominent jobs as main editors of the left-wing newspapers.

This is one of Giuseppe’s favourite subjects and I will take the literary freedom to talk about it. Amalgamation of newspapers is nothing new but it is extremely relevant today when the readership of local and national newspapers – especially the extremely biased ones – is going down.

Have a look at Democracy because Democracy is also going down with less than 40 per cent of people actually voting and talking to some of those who did not bother to vote the message we get is extremely clear: they no longer believe in the democratic process and consider that Democracy is a waste of time.

As the Chinese say, we are living in interesting times. Even Boris Johnson was asked on May 23rd 2012 if his aim of wanting to change the laws regarding industrial actions was not hypocritical taking into account that Members of Parliament get elected in some cases with less than 16 per cent of the vote.

Boris Johnson argues that there should not be any strikes if moves to strike are approved by less than 51% of trade union members. Following his argument, he himself and all the members of the London Assembly should resign, adding to them the resignation of Members of Parliament and of every Local and Regional authority because they were all elected with a lot less than 51%.

Somehow, the Daily Mirror and the Sunday Mirror are the perfect type of newspapers for a Nazi or Marxist dictatorship. So at the end of the day there is no big loss. The useful idiots will soon be replaced by another set of useful idiots that will foot the line and follow the dictacts of their paymasters.
